Joe and Frank's subdued and subtle response after 15:00 when they first find the corpse is a perfect example of Jack Webb's expert use of under-acting to convey a realistic situation.
I found this Episode to be a particularly interesting storyline. This Episode, plus "The Big Girl", and "The Big Thank You" are my favorite Dragnets this week! But then again, I listen to OTR every single night for 2 hours at bedtime, NEVER missing a day....so I am an expert! So THANKS for uploading.....your work has provided literally hours and hours of entertainment and comfort to me! MUCH appreciated! ❤️
@@heyoldman2003 What's your favorite episode of OTR Dragnet? I recently started watching the TV shows too---it's a fascinating look at style, culture, and social mores of 50s/60s/70s America!!
I really can’t thing of a favorite one . Or even the names . My fav tv one is about a bank robbery. The guard is named Gibson and he has a really controlling boss. And he got a business card from Joe and was so proud of it . Hope that makes sense . Over all I love listening to them . Any of them 😎
@@theoregan4183 / Hello Theo 👋🏽! Well it’s been a year since you left this comment! I do hope you’re STILL enjoying these episodes 💯🫶🏽 I know I literally STILL look forward to listening each night! 📻🥱🥱🛌💤😴
@@dimasgirl2749 First there was FATIMA CIGARETTES as the program's sponsor, later there was CHESTERFIELD CIGARETTES as sponsor! I once read that Jack Webb was a heavy cigarette smoker, also, and died of a heart attack! Maybe that's true about Jack, I really don't know!
good show , thanks for posting these shows.

Sullen and Uncooperative.. seems a common trait among murdering creeps 😎
a piece of cinnamon toast 😊
L&M, Chesterfield, and Fatima? Jack Webb's gotta smoke 'em all...
Has anyone noticed that in every episode someone asks for a cigarette?
of course. everyone smoked back then
It's also something to do with the hands in the middle of a stressful situation. Other options were things like coffee.

A body in an unairconditioned room in july for a month? You'd smell it before you saw it..
If a body has been lying around for a month, you’d smell it at the door
And why didn’t they enter her place sooner……
"I didn't mean to kill her. If she just moved out.".... All for a little more money.
Jack Webb is A Savage!!!
Boo.
