I feel like Doom only has that one move and the rest of the time he's just sitting around. Most of the time the damage from his special is unimpressive. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.
You're not wrong. Doom has one very good move, but after that, he is no longer a major threat like Skrull, Apoc, or even Dorm. It feels very likely that Doom will get a team centered around him like Ultron with Masters Of Evil.
