Takes me back to my crew days always loved the downplane.
That looks super intense. What was the altitude at break off? I bet that is some great ground speed from their perspective.
After we let go and the canopy recovered from the dive, it was around 1500. Ground rush was awesome 😎
Далековато от аэродрома начали делать "развал", но смотрелось красиво. Высокого неба, мягких приземлений ! 👍🪂👍🪂💯
All from what appears to be Hop N Pop Altitude!!! Favorite Skydiving video by far!!
@adamwright7985 thank you 😊
And you are correct, there was a ceiling around 7k on that jump
I’ve been away from skydiving for some time now. I haven’t seen any CRW in a long time. I thought that everything was all about unstable exits, free flying, and swooping tiny canopies.
Loved CREW!
Had a Pursuit 230.
Retired in 88.
I miss it!
"Stand by for the green,💚 light,🚦?"
That’s insane!
Love this I want to get into crw when is a decent time to start looking around for camps? I’m at around 200 jumps rn
I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊 200 jumps should be enough skill to take the raw dogs camp. Sign up during the summer or go down to Florida, lol
We did a lot of this at Titusville, Florida in the 80's!
In the age of the 7 cell, and later PD-190 and PD-170 my mate and I did a down plane after every single RW jump.
Very nice. Did you make it back to the lz ? 😂
Just barely! There was a nice tail wind... crossed the fence at 50ft, lol
@@evamaxwitham6574 Nice Edit! Max you did awesome correcting the heading and doing the rest of the work getting the grip! Still get goosebumps watching it. If you pause the clip right around the 2:25 mark, look how low both of us are compared to Kevin (the videographer)..... he so should've made it back hahaha
@@brandonburns2648 Thanks, but I really only added music to Kevin's amazing footage. That was a great jump, thanks for helping me experience that...and yeah Kevin should have been on those rear risers, lol. BTW, we saw the video of your 2 stack downplane and that looks like fun, can't wait to do one of those 😁
This is awesome, you guys make it back to the DZ or was it an off landing?
Thanks! Yeah, we made it back just barely. Camera guy didn't though, lol
Wild!!
👌
Crew dogs are a different breed
never seen our guys doing that in Russia for some reason, maybe wasn't paying attention, at the Twin City DZ they were like ain't no thing style doing that, awesome
Bad ass !
I think its faster to go into a side by side then a down plane.
Lenha doida!
👍
wow
The good ol' days...
OLD days??? We were just happy flying belly to earth. NONE of that "crazy" stuff. HA!

I loved it!
Finally quit because I was spending months offshore working and couldn't remain current.
I miss it, particularly with the amazing new canopies and those wing suits!
I would dearly love to fly both!
@@JohnMoore-xf5wy I worked at Eloy for 15 years as a videographer, and made around 4500 before I quit. So you know I loved it.
But I'm over it now. I may make another jump some day, but if I don't, I'm cool with that too.

Sex is so boring compared to skydiving.
Haha… I’ve only done CRW once and thought it was amazing. Sadly, been out of the hobby since 2009 but this video brings it right back! Very cool.

NOPE
Lose the music...........
too many mistakes, the first and most serious is not to go to the landing point (in this case the airport) if he were to jump over a big city to land inside a stadium he would surely miss the target and risk landing on the roof of a house. I recommend that you keep this in mind for your next workouts.
Bye

That dual swooping looked amazing lol!!!
