The modern three-point seat belt was developed in 1959 by Nils Bohlin (Swedish Engineer working for VOLVO). And they left the patent open for all car manufacturers to use for free.

Håkan Lans created a lot of important inventions and he would probably have done many many more if he had not been forced to fight big companies in courts over patents. A smart guy but no one can fight hundreds of lawyers years after year without getting tired and stay focused on new inventions.

What is not mentioned as a Swedish invention. is 3D on data and video games. And that it is thanks to Sweden that computer/tv games look so realistic. Sweden is the country you should go to to train as a game developer, as Sweden is at the top. Then there are many more inventions that Sweden is behind.

    3:01 Not the 1900s. The 18th century is the _1700s_ .

Nobel peace prize comes from Norway Nobel wanted a neutral country to award it. all other Nobel prizes come from Sweden

The prize comes from Sweden, the selection of the winner is in Norway, yes?

Norway was in union with Sweden when Nobel wrote his will in 1895. The Union between Sweden and Norway peacefully ended 1905. Don't know why Nobel selected Stortinget ( Norwegian parliament) to select peace prize winner. Maybe he thought Norway more peaceful.

No no it's "safety matches" the type of matches that everyone have, that have been used for centruries now since the moment it got invented which replaced the other old matches. The safety matches was indeed invented by a swede and he only improved the invention.
