Well I’m a Scot, and I say you have one of the best squads of players England has had in decades. I know what to expect tonight when we play against Germany. England are different you can take on any team in the world with the players that you have, but it’s down to one thing get rid of that flop manager and give yourselves the opportunity you deserve. At this point it's just descending into another Club tournament, Guehi was born in Ivory Coast. Where is the line drawn? Clearly nations are going to start ising lax immigration laws to scout potential players offering incentives and moving their families into thw country and getting them citizenship purely to play for the national team. This utterly defeats the point of International football. It lessens the tournament and makes it duller and less competitive. The England team is also increasingly being used to make ideological statements, diversity will almost certainly be considered over talent if ever there were 11 White British players who happened to be the best in the country. Being English is far more than a passport and this used to be reflected in our international football, who cares about yet another club team?
