Thank you fr. Rodriquez. Since I've only been attending the TLM for almost 2 years, I never quite understood how papacy works. This only reaffirms the importance of tradition and the latin mass.

Francis rejected the title Vicar of Christ. On the day Francis signed Fiducia Supplicans, lightning struck a statue of St Peter, in the Archdioces of Buenas Aires. It was on Francis's birthday and the day before the document was sent out. The lightning burned off the statue's hand holding the keys of the kingdom. The authority was removed.

Irrespective, of all the natural events which may or may not have been indicative of prophecy; namely with respect to Bergoglio's papacy. Allegedly, Francis, had stated that he was NOT the Vicar of Christ (what than is he?).
The fact remains, that Pope Francis, is a heretic. Some have stated that he is an Anti-Pope ? Since I'm not a theologian, I would not be able to offer a comment, in this regard.

@@danieldimond5734 There are too many indicators that this was pointing to Cardinal Bergolio. Also, I failed to mention the lightning strike was in a location protected by two prominent lightning rods.
Rather than pull down the papal office by putting a pope's teachings up for auction, it would be far better to just simply admit that Bergoglio is not a valid pope.

Bergolio rejected the title Vicar of Christ that is supposed to go with the office.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me."
He never said 'Follow Peter/the Pope'!
The Pope is NOT the Standard of Faith and Belief, that is the exclusive jurisdiction of our Lord and Master, our King Jesus.
The function of the Pope is to preserve, protect and Faithfully explain the Deposit of Faith, which is unchanging and unchangeable. No-one, Pope included, has the authority to change the God-given Deposit of Faith.
Father Rodriguez, why do you not refer to the present Catholic Pope by his title, Pope Francis? Even if you don't agree with him, as an ordained priest in the Catholic Church who vowed chastity, poverty, and obedience, should you not, as a gesture of obedience and respect refer to him by his title? Are you in union with the Papacy? If you are not, is it merely because of Fidicia Supplicans? 😢
Diocesan Catholic priests do not make vows. They make two promises - celibacy and obedience to the bishop, at their ordination. The bishop considers them his co-workers and his friends, and in return they owe him respect and obedience, which is conditional on the Bishop's adherence to the authentic Catholic Faith.
Priests who belong to a religious order, such as Dominicans and Franciscans, take vows of poverty, chastity and obedience to their superiors in a religious institute. Sometimes a promise of obedience is taken instead of a vow.
Their Superior, of course, has made the usual promises to his Bishop.
A Catholic must not accept anything that is contrary to the Teachings of Jesus Christ.
Absolute and unconditional obedience is owed to God alone.

Because it is often more convenient to simply use the name since the title of pope is already understood. Often there is a reference to Leo XIII, or Pius X, or John Paul II instead of starting with the word “Pope.” That does not mean the person saying this is denying the papacy of a particular pope.
@user-uq7zg4vc8m agree. However, in this context, there is there is a grievance or disagreement toward Pope Francis, in which case, care should be taken in addressing His Holiness so as not to mislead the faithful. 🤎
