It fits for the Kong's species that they fall into tragedy with major loss and exile to skull island and then being at war with skull crawlers and then those who were left in the hollow earth were brought into slavery by the tyrannical skar king truly a tragic tale for the Kong species.
But that tragedy would end as Kong himself grew older, having slayed Ramarak (of course with help) and made his home in Hollow Earth after the rivalry with Godzilla before teaming up to take down Mechagodzilla and forming a truce many years after the events on Skull Island back in 1973. Now three years later in 2027, Kong would discover he is not the last of his kind but shocked to discover his people are under the ruthless tyranny of Skar King but after being injured by Shimo and barely escaping, it became Kong couldn’t take this battle on his own so Jia asked him to bring Godzilla despite the fragile truce. With help from the young Suko and the ever-beautiful Mothra, Kong and Godzilla would stop Skar King and Shimo from conquering the surface (though Shimo was too a victim of Skar King’s abuse). With Skar King dead at last and parting ways with Godzilla, Mothra and those who became involved (Jia, Andrews, Trapper and Bernie): Kong, Suko and Shimo returned to the decreased tyrant’s kingdom and declared the freedom of the enslaved apes thus Kong becoming their new leader and the rightful ruler, the true king of Hollow Earth. I don’t know if this comment is accurate, but in my opinion, Kong grew unknowingly (same with others) to become his kind’s last hope… their pinnacle individual, their savior and their true king.
Funny enough, the Apes from Hollow earth is actually different species from Kong's on Skull Island. You can see Apes from Hollow earth is nearly big and tall as Kong, while Kong's on Skull Island, kinda small compared to them.
The war started by Skarking wasn't the first titan war between the kongs and the gojiras. The novelization of Godzilla vs Kong states that a gojira was consumed with power and started to cause chaos. So the kongs went to war with the gojiras. They were losing the war, and eventually someone within their ranks broke a taboo by killing a prince. So several of the Kongs left to Skull Island as we know they did.
You should know as well as the rest of us that they keep coming out with inconsistencies that retcon some previous notions and theories all the time. Therefore, these assumptions about who did what don't really even matter until the monsterverse has run its course, and all the lore is out on the table.
This was an Iwi myth. Considering the Iwi worshipped the Kongs and gained great power and prestige from Scar King's conquests, naturally they would view Godzilla slaughtering the great apes mercilessly as an evil act But clearly it was not so, since Mothra, the guardian of peace & harmony fought alongside Godzilla, meaning she viewed Godzilla's violent brutality as being necessary to restore balance and harmony

@@DangerVille I don’t think that’s the case. If Skar King was able to send Skull Crawlers to Skull Island and mark his territory there, then why didn’t he just take Shimo up there himself and start the new Ice Age that way?
What were the Kongs doing in the rocky fiery pit, they were constantly moving rocks around but it didn't seem to have any pattern or purpose I could discern from just the movie.
This was an interesting video, but there's a possible theory that not only skar king waged war against godzilla himself and other guardian titans but could have had a conflict with Kong's ancestors due to a tribal rivalry between their kind during the great titan war, in order to succeeding his motive along with ensuring they wont get in his way since they're peaceful/protective creatures that defends the innocent like the iwis and would stop him at any cost. Then ended up exiling them out of the hollow earth (possibly being outnumbered, overpowered, or with the help of shimo) which explains why they ended up being on skull island (claiming as their new home) while the other apes gets captured then turned into slaves of the skar king. Leaving the kongs on skull island facing a new foe "The Skullcrawlers" that will bring their downfall until one remains and become the next king that will lead a bright future for the great apes. Even tho all is not revealed ( yet) until legendary creates a prequel installment that explains the titans origns, but we'll have to wait and see in the future i guess 🤔 🤷.
No wonder the Kongs came close to finishing of the Godzilla species in the great Titan war. It isn't brute strength that gave them an edge over gorillas and MUTOs but their bloody skilled and human like mind. Their brain is their strongest weapon. If one Kong can give single Godzilla such a good fight, then think about 100s armed with weapons and ganging up on their opponents with 10 to 1 ratio. Not to mention Godzilla's came in different size and forms too, smaller ones were torn apart, and their bodies were used to craft weapons.
Do you guys think that the War between Kong’s people and Godzilla’s people and the War between Godzilla and the Skar King’s apes were the same or each a different war
