    Wow, you really went all out on the lighting for the truck! I like how you went to all the trouble of creating the SMD LED headlamps and trailer lights. You really worked hard to make the lighting and trailer cable realistic. It sounds awesome too, maybe a little too high revving for a diesel, but not by much. It definitely is much more realistic than in previous videos of it. I think you are ready for an RC Tank now! :-)

      Thank you. The SMD soldering is not that hard. All you need is a strap on magnifier and thin copper enamelled wires. BTW: the 375D is not a Diesel, it's a V8 petrol universal fuel engine. The 4320 is a V8 Diesel. It sounds exactly as there original in my opinion.

      @@TheDIYGuy999 Ooops, my bad then. A gas engine would rev like that! As for the SMD soldering, I have the light and magnification I need... it was necessary to build your micro-receiver! I guess the fine wire would be magnet or motor wire which might be salvaged from a little electric motor? Anyway, great work, it is a beautiful truck. I am still building my T35 and printing my King Hauler.

      @@jps99 I found better raw material in the mean time and will try to make an optimised version of the 375 engine sound. Yes, you can use wire from old electric motors, they have a thin insulation on the surface.

      Thanks. You can read how to make them in the manual:

    Hi Sir. I finished assembling RC_engine_sound_Esp32, and it didn't work perfectly. My radio is old, PWM only, and the options are from FlySky and your Micro_RC. doesn't work with other radios? Can you help me not to lose the project? Thankful.

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999 3 роки тому

      Hi, it does work with all radios, just make sure that the peak voltage of your RC signals does not exceed 3.3V. Of course, you have to configure it properly according to:
      github.com/TheDIYGuy999/Rc_Engine_Sound_ESP32/blob/master/README.md
      see "Interface types". Also make sure, your channel order is according to the tab "2_adjustmentsRemote.h"

      @@TheDIYGuy999 Hi. I'm using a DIY Arduino control, with 7 channels from ELECTRONOOBS that controls Joop Brokking's drone and it works well. All the functions of your project work perfectly, I just can't control the LEDs on the CH2. I tried the potentiometer output and I also tried the two position digital output. Would a 3-position switch be required or do I need to make any adjustments to the code? "2_adjustmentsRemote.h" set to FLYSKY because as MICRO-RC nothing works ... Thanks

    Where did you get the trailer

    Where can i find those thin wires for the lights? (And won't they short out? Looks like copper wires)

    • @TheDIYGuy999
      @TheDIYGuy999 2 роки тому

      It is enameled copper wire, so it has a very thin insulation on it. It is from Conrad Electronic

    The rear bumper is incorrect, such a bumper was installed on the onboard GAZ-66. Give the address where to send the STL file with the correct bumper from Ural!

      I know, it's still the original WPL bumper. I only replaced the trailer bumper and lights so far. Could I use the same one or is it incorrect as well? m_sommer@gmx.ch

    Excellent model, sound, but the trailer is just awful, in Russia such two-axle ones have never been made.

      Thanks. I know the trailer is not scale, but I still kind of like it, because of its very good off road capabilities.
