Pop-Up Card Tutorial - How to Make a Card with an Eye-catching Center?
Are you tired of classic handmade cards and looking for something with a 'wow' factor? Perhaps Marta's prepared tutorial on a pop-up card will interest you! What is a pop-up card? It's a card that initially looks like a traditional paper craft. However, upon opening the card, you discover a surprise - elements of the composition seem to be standing inside the card! Our designer will show you today how to achieve this effect.
You'll learn how to:
✔ Prepare internal elements of the pop-up card;
✔ Attach construction strips so that the card closes flat and, upon opening, raises the compositional elements upwards;
✔ Create a wedding scrapbooking card using the beautiful Lemoncraft Hope papers;
✔ Create a decorative composition on the card, mainly using thematic elements for independent cutting;
✔ Add unique sparkle to the wedding scrapbooking card.
Apart from the Lemoncraft Hope collection, you'll also need:
✔ Square card base;
✔ Pieces of white business cardstock (to create pop-up strips);
✔ High-quality bookbinding glue, e.g., Magic glue;
✔ Double-sided 3D adhesive squares and/or bookbinding board with a thickness of 2 or 3 mm;
✔ Glitter or mini sequins or cut iridescent foil or microbeads;
✔ Pieces of lace;
✔ Several carefully chosen flowers for the work, such as handmade fabric or foamiran flowers, or purchased paper flowers.
