Very true words about Cooper. 10 years of true loyal service, had the chance to jump ship with the other rats when the chips were down, but turned down the £4 million per season, Middle East money to assist Leeds where/how he could! True servant on my opinion, respect!
I must say it was nice not to notice the Ref for a change I think the team managed the game great!

What a great player for Leeds United, thanks Coops! Glad to see him on the pitch for a few moments. What a breath of fresh air against Norwich, I think Leeds have woken up! Great way to go into the final game!
Cooper is the living embodiment of 'side before self'. Staying to help get Leeds back into the Premiership (fingers crossed) will be a brilliant epitaph for the man.

10 years is a long time, if he has further value to add beyond the pitch, then I hope he stays.
Meslier has always been a phenomenal natural shot-stopper. Other aspects of his game still need improvement.

Ger as you know I am not a fan of FARKE but last night was how it should have been over the last 7 or 8, whatever he did worked. When Rutter plays like that I believe the team wins, so brilliant from Rutter, Meslier, Archie and Gruev. Nobody played badly so chuffed to bits for everyone

Mixed feelings about promotion. Of course I want Leeds to go up, but if they do there will be less wins to celebrate than if they we stay down. On the plus side, looking at the teams relegated from the premiership this season, can't see Leeds having much competition for promotion next season.

Cooper is a Leeds legend and he always will be but recent seasons have shown how calamitous he has become. I wish him luck in whatever he does in the future but it's time to move on.

Very well done to the team, I 'm more than pleased to be proved wrong my hands are up big time, they needed to step up to the plate and they did so! Meslier needs to prove that he can be consistent not just in the big moments, but during routine matches when the defence finally breaks down he has to show he can save our bacon more consistently and much more often, as much as you might disagree he has regressed and should be better with his experience he's been here for over 4 years now mostly as number one. All credit to Cooper he's been a very good servant for the club and showed his loyalty, leadership and dedication, despite the others, he deserves all the credit given, its a shame his career is coming to an end, but I 'am sure he will be in and around the periphery of the club in the near future, I think like Ayling he still has something to offer but not perhaps at the top level. As for the other players on the bench I think you will see an exodus of players, they need game time, and they won't get it at Er, despite what we think about them, the key question really is, will the 49'nrs have the guts to terminate Bumfluffs contract or send him out on loan, allowing youth to come through and develop? Again fantastic result last night, we can all breath a little easier, but the hardest test is yet to come, and can the team handle the pressure the closer we get to the final? ***MOT***

While we din't win a game against either Southampton or West Brom in the four games we did create more chance. In the two games against Southampton we had 26 chances to their 21 and against West Brom we created 31 chances to their 17. In none of those four games did either Southampton or West Brom have more chances than us.
The first game against West brom at home we had no team, saints away, all defence missing, West brom and saints away were played whre we were out of form
@stephenhodgson3506 We just need to take those chances more often, last night seemed like the penny had dropped finally for the team!
@@BennyHolden-ls7sj It happens to all teams Man City will often get into the high teens and only get a few on target and even score only once. Then other days they will barely reach double figures bit score four or five.
We've had quite a few keepers at Elland road this season who have played their best game of the season and you simply can't plan for that.
Hopefully whoever we play at Wembley doesn't have a keeper who has a blinder and that we take more of our chances than they do. We also have a potential weapon in that in all the games we have had against Southampton and West Brom Bamford has played a total of 39 minutes. The way he disrupts central defenders could play a major part if he plays. It's not his goals we need, others can do that, it's the way he can stop defenders supporting their midfield and forwards that makes it easier for us to keep a tight ship.
