- Finally picked up Monster Energy Supercross 3 for the PS4 today and thought we would give the multiplayer a go. Milestone, one of the leading racing game developers in the world, is pleased to announce Monster Energy Supercross 3 - The Official Videogame.
The latest release of the most beloved and realistic Supercross videogame, globally available on February 4th on PlayStation4, Xbox One, Windows PC/STEAM, Google Stadia and Nintendo Switch, will feature the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross season with 100 riders from both the 450SX and 250SX Classes, 15 official stadiums and tracks. For the very first time in the series, it will also allow players to choose between a sponsor team or an Official Supercross Team of the 2019 Championship in Career Mode: players will finally have the chance to become a teammate of their favorite Supercross rider and show the whole world who’s the king of the track!
With Monster Energy Supercross 3 The Game, players can now also race in co-op mode with 3 other friends, choosing different game modes in the replica of the legendary Factory Supercross Practice Tracks in California. A huge free roaming area with 9 amazing tracks, where most of the OEMs that compete in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship test their bikes.
And once you’ve practiced, you’ll be ready to challenge other players in the brand new Online Multiplayer Mode, now boosted with Dedicated Servers for a lag-free gameplay experience, and Race Director Mode to create amazing online tournaments, deciding from the players’ starting positions, to assigning penalties or choosing which cameras to focus on. Championship, Quick Race or Elimination Mode, players can choose their favorite game mode, browsing through Public and Private Lobbies to find their right match. There are many ways to show who’s the best Supercross rider!
After great success with the previous game, more than 53,000 tracks were created by our passionate community, the Track Editor is back and it’s better than ever: new modules and new stadium items to customize tracks in a unique way. Thanks to brand new aesthetic customization items, such as Tough Block, Finish Gates or Leader Pillars, players can now enhance realism and immersion of their custom tracks.
For Monster Energy Supercross 3 - The Official Videogame; developers worked hard to improve several technical aspects that will impact both graphics and the overall gameplay experience. Rider and secondary character models have been completely re-made from scratch with photo scanning that now feature a new set of animations. The new model system allowed us to add for the first time, a Female Rider model with its own animations and physics. Players can select a Female Custom Rider amongst different models to be the next Supercross Champion. Tracks are more alive, thanks to revised particles of fireworks, flames, dry and wet ground that are more detailed and realistic. On the gameplay side, physics has been completely revised to be adapted to the new riders’ animations and a new in-air bike control system has been implemented to improve bike handling during jumps.

It's much more fun battling with collisions on bc it forces you to find and run new lines to make the pass which is more realistic as well! With collisions off it's more of a time trails then anything. Cool race though 🤙
I also prefer with collisions, but the problem is that some guys only want to crash in to you in corners or push you in the tuffblocks on whoopsections... Key is to be faster and get the hack out of their way 😁
Collisions is annoying asf coz you can have the best line and someone with lag comes out of nowhere hits you and thats it

I just havent really gotten into multiplayer with any other mx game since Encore. I do feel like I could with this one tho. I like that you dont have to have the fastest lap to win. Feels easier to be average and still snag a victory once in while.
We were battling at Arlington till I hit a tuff block then I couldn’t catch up and in San Diego I just suck you were flying though lol good battles i love this game!

It runs super smooth on PC. Takes a little getting used to, but Ive been really liking it.
@@windham151 did you find ps4 controls a bit more on the stiff side? I find most games don't feel as flowly on there.
Actually it felt the opposite with this game. It seemed like the controls were more sensitive on PS4. It could all be just in my head tho lol.

You my man were flying at Arlington. That charge you mounted at the end was insane. Almost took the win. One more lap and you very well might have, would for sure have gotten me.
Hell yeah, more multiplayer is great. I'm surprised you havent done too much of it on the other games either.
Yeah, I havent been super big into multiplayer since MX vs ATV Encore. Used to play a lot of multiplayer there, especially for live streams. Would like to try and get into this one tho. I need a lot of practice on the console tho, it felt so different from PC.
Stop stressing man... You rode 2nd race flawless man👌 you had him trying to catch back up to you. And you kept him on his P's and Q's in the first half of race #2 until you passed him. Great content as well man💯

stop wheeling through the woops, slow down earlier before the turns also stop pointing your front wheel down in the air, is better to hit with back wheel it slows you down when the front wheel hits the crest of the jump you are landing on
When he points his front wheel down it’s called brake tapping and it helps u get over the jumps so don’t listen to this guy

Indeed, just felt a lot different coming from the PC version. Was mainly trying to just get used to it lol. I struggled with rhythms even more on the console version.
Yep, just told a guy. Im like 6th 5th in lap times. But top 3 most of the time. I got 300,000 or 30,000 plus or something nuts.

How big is the player base for PC? Decent size? Or just a handful of players.
I'm contemplating on weather to get this for my PS4 or PC. I'd rather have it for the PC since it'll play smoother. But I don't want to get stuck playing solo half of the time due to a lack of players.
Wish there was contact. Make it more of an advantage to be out front. And you could check people in corners

Well I got a little bit lucky at San Diego. I think just repetition is best. Running laps in time attack until you have it down stone cold. Knowing exactly what gear and how much preload to use.
@@windham151 what bike settings do you use? I've played with settings and it just doesn't feel roght
For this I was just using the basic setup you start with. I bought the game and instantly jumped into multiplayer. I know some guys like to move all the settings to the farthest left. You could give that a go and see how it works.
Ngl standard bike set up does the job I've hit top 2 leaderboard lap times on pc with standard set up its just don't to what bike u can ride good yourself

I finally got the game. Do u have any tips to be better i suck at it.
There are definitely better players out there than me, but using manual transmission is easier to run faster and bigger lines. I like advanced physics, but I know a lot of fast players run the standard physics. Also, there is a trick to landing front wheel very low into jumps if you are about to case to gain a speed boost. Not realistic at all, but faster. I think I have a video in the Monster Energy Supercross 3 playlist talking about it. Other than that, just playing and finding a bike setup that works best for you. Also, I believe the KTM and Honda 450s are the fastest in the game.
He was scrubbing jumps to stay faster and keep the lead. He must have landed one short for you to catch up. Gotta use the whip more often bro.

idk what's up with the miles covered thing, i think they should kept the wins to podium ratio up, but then again ti would probably be similar to the KD ratio in fps games where a larger majority of players would quit races to keep a somewhat favorable ratio even though the numbers hold little purpose.
Agreed. Would be nice to see the wins and podiums, but if quitting early preserved the ratio that would kind of ruin it. Maybe they will figure something out.
If you are used to quality titles like red or gta then get ready for a shock. This feels like a beta. All the tracks are the same as well. Should be £9.99.
If you are on PS4 man myself and my buddy would love to race with you sometime. Its hard to find fast people on these games to have good races with
Oh I wish I was fast lol. I just had a good couple races where I didnt make a ton of mistakes, but I clearly wasnt the fastest. Would like to run some for sure man. I want to stream from the console now that I picked the game up there. Maybe some of those times it would work for you fellas?

I’d go Xbox I’m have both pc and a ps4 and there are way more players on console. The only time PC has a significant amount of players is right when it comes out because they fate really quickly and you become stuck with single player and I get super boring. So I’d say console for sure

I actually wasnt running any setup. Just the basic one that you start with. I just finished downloading the game and instantly jumped into multiplayer lol.

when i try and race live it will not let me click ready? it gives me the options of preset riders but wont let me click any. wont let me chose the one preset i have. not very good with video games and im seeing these comments are pretty old if anyone can help thatd be awesome.

There is no split screen in recent Milestone games.

The overall control of the rider feels a little bit different. More twitchy is the best way to explain it. It could all very well be in my head, but it was way easier to over correct on PS4 than it feels on PC. I also didnt feel I lost as much momentum when over jumping. Again, could just be all in my head. The frame rate might have had a little to do with it as well.
Can you do the next online multiplayer game at 4:00 bcs I want to play too.

It means a tear-off is available. I think it goes dark from the time you select to use it to the time he actually tears it off.
