Hey everyone! 👋 just pretend we didnt cut our heads off at the end😂 We were racing the rain that was coming in and obviously didnt check all the angles. Oh the joys of being tall!
Thank you both for the information. I'm a rose lover, too. I do this for finding the water level: I made a "dipstick" with a small diameter, light weight dowel rod long enough to reach the bottom of the water well yet rise above the top of the fill tube. Then inserted said dowel into a wine cork (may want to secure with water proof glue). Drop that set up into the fill tube. The cork will bob on the water. Mark your dowel for low water and you can easily see when to refill.
@@kathyelseroad3166 sadly they didn't make it! But I think it was on us this time and not the plant 😭 we will have an update on our aquapots here soon!
The only way to tell when its full of water is when you see run off from the drain hole underneath that should be UN plugged. Two features I see Jack Barnwell and Proven Winners upgrading in the 2nd version of these pots would be a longer telescoping fill tube and a drain/fill hole on the side of the pot like they have built into the ceramic pots.
Apparently Matt realized that after we did this video, but he didn't tell me until after I read this comment! 😂 it didn't look like it had overflow to me at first! But I'm glad to know his now and I agree with your suggestions! Thanks for watching, happy gardening! 😊

Thanks for watching! That is a genius idea for checking the water level!
@@TrowelandError Thanks!
Great information. Keep us updated on how long it holds water
Will do! Thanks for watching!
Do it with a wooden dowel inserted in the fill hole for the water level. Oso Easy looks like a keeper.

I hope you can find something similar!
@@TrowelandError We'll look for sure
