- For 24 Hours I lived just on $1 Meals in Taiwan. This 24 hour challenge was an interesting way to find affordable and cheap $1 foods like, Taiwanese street food handmade pizza, fried foods, and traditional Taiwanese street foods like a jumbo omelette . Other then $1 street food I saw different vending machine businesses, fast food and overall the Taiwanese street food culture. Enjoy this crazy challenge in Taiwan!

Have you been to Columbia?
Hong Kong
Sri lanka
Australia
¿ España ?
When you went to buy a bun, the vendor said that most of buns are sold out. They could only provide the rest of buns(like the pork bun in video) to you.
wl50451 love it! Thanks for this :)

@@JayJohnsonVlogs can you please ask Bobby to visit Italy for showing us the italian street food on his next trip outside the US ?
Thats what i love abt Taiwan. They can make u feel like you belong in their community. Thats why i keep coming back in their country.

Julia Chiu China and other communists doesn’t mean most other countries lol

Any thiCc kind of liquid? Gravy.
Hotel? Trivago

@@Maaztig White gravy is a thing. That's probably what makes it white.

Taiwanese people are nicest, and the food is amazing. So glad this popped up in my recommended. Enjoy it there!
Why do u have turd vending machines 🤣
ty i am taiwanese my favorite are the ribs
@@zachariahh4471 its a joke/toy
The Taiwaneses are immensely cogential, resourceful, and seem easy to approach conversational wise. And- the foods looked delectable, fresh, quality, and inexpemse. The pork, 🍚 rice, and veggies were my best in terms of what I would have purchase.
I absolutely love these videos where you seek out cheaper food because the people are always so humble and welcoming to all, as a traveler myself a warm welcome is always a great thing to experience!
Who else got hungry watching this. 😂
:OOOOOO
Every time dude i watch it and i need to eat something
Dusty because of the dog food claw machine? Me too! That poop looked delicious it probably tastes like dog food, which tastes like it smells. Delicious!
MediCali951 you crackhead 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good thing I just ate!
So far, you're the best UA-camr I've seen...
You have such a nice and gentle personality, and the way you explore everything in so detail is amazingly satisfying...
I love watching your videos!
Love from India!!😍🤗
Wow, thanks for this :)
Can't believe this...
You actually replied !!!!!
😍
Thank you so much!
Yes but also try mark wiens and mikey cheng/strictly dumpling
@@LeGItMImpcT yeah sure !!
I'll check em out!
Being a Taiwanese food, I would say most symbolic night market food is “popcorn chicken “ and “sweet potato balls”. Both are deep fried food but are the 2 must have each time I go back to Taiwan.
Taiwan is one of the most friendly country in the world.
Most friendly until you hop onto a motorcycle.
or when you yield to pedestrians at an intersection, they honk at you like you should not have yielded.
Ever been to Canada?
*sad Canadian noises*
Not trying to be rude, but Taiwan isn’t a country
Shengwei He wait what? Wdym?
The hospitality was awesome
People are so nice and friendlier... Very much loving people..
I am very happy to meet you. I hope that you will like Taiwanese cuisine and welcome to Taiwan. 👍
Bobby- Bro- you have defintely upgraded your $1.00 international food game videos. Love your international videos..
Your attitude and personality are what keeps me clicking on videos. The content is interesting but honestly just watching how you interact with people and go with the flow is inspiring
4:53 @LivingBobby she said Er Shi Wu which means 25 and you only put 20. Was there a discount?
Yup_ItsVincent heard the same thing, is my third year studying Chinese and it’s the only thing I picked up on lol
He just rips the poor people off for this 1 dollar idea
@@MarketingGuru2024
What??????
I can feel the pain physically when those students trying to figure out what Bobby said..
1. Does he love everything he eats?
2. Why didn't he get foodpoisoning yet?
Just wondering
Question 2 is the most important question of them all!!!!
you don't really get food poisoning in Taiwan mate... its usually in 3rd world countries like Cambodia ect.. ... Taiwan is in first world bro like Japan and South korea...
If you eat what locals eat you will not get food poisoning, if you go to a tourist trap of a restaurant that doesn’t care about their food quality, most likely you will get something after continuous trips. Haha, and I actually do have a massive appreciation for all foods
Alphonse Lee dang I’m Cambodian 😣😣😣
@@LivingBobby this is so true
I live in Taiwan, there are some really good food places around here! Maybe try doing 24 hours on convenience stores!!!
bestfunplayer Good idea
Bro what is that 0:08
Kokak it’s a fake poop claw machine bro
You’re always so happy and genuine! Love living these cultures through you!
Taiwan is definitely the place to go for 1 dollar street food. And it’s delicious!
When she said "we don't have" it's actually everything was sold out so they were only left with the buns
Love the way everyone helped with their suggestions!
Your videos are sooo addicting I need to stop because I got things I have to do but just cant so ser entertain everytime keep it up Bobby!
Amazing videos I love these and watch them all the time
Love watching your videos Bobby! They're so inspiring! 😁👌
Taiwan people are very friendly, I still miss the place and I only just got back from there a few days ago☹️☹️
Welcome to Taiwan again.
He has the best heart.....he expresses thankfulness and gratitude with his whole heart
the chicken lady was so nice. She sent Bobby to a different vendor
The oyster vermicelli is one of my favorite dishes. You probably shouldn't have gone with the spicy version on your first try. It also comes with pig intestines for the most authentic version. The pork bun is an Asian classic. Sad you didn't get to try the xiao long bao (little dragon buns) or beef noodle soup. These are other famous Taiwanese food everyone needs to try at least once.
Thanks for the good time Bobby! This was really entertaining! ✌
awesome awesome man! the passion you have is there. keep creating these vlogs!
Really love the episodes in foreign countries, so interesting! Everyone is so friendly too, love it
I feel like you should learn a few phrases for the people you go to, especially "What food can I buy for $1" 😅😅😅😂
Yes! I love languages and must incorporate that
@@LivingBobby same here, that's why I like to learn little bits here and there of places im going to. Always get a good reaction out of locals who are surprised you know a little bit. Keep it up with the food vids my dude, always look forward to them! 👍👍👍
OMG YOU CAME TO TAIWAN!!!!!!!!!!
i’m Taiwanese and it would have been AWESOME TO MEET YOU!!!

Phenomenal work man! You inspire me!!
2:06 please don't stab the chopsticks into the rice! It symbolizes incense sticks
Taiwanese are extremely, genuinely , friendly and warm
It’s your videos that make my UA-cam list so valuable :)
Another Great Video!!!!!!!!!!
When I was a student there back in 2012 that bun place was my daily go to. I literally lived around the corner. I dream of those buns to this day, I need to go back!
Nice meeting you at the Shilin Night Market Bobby! Still can’t believe I met you there, and I hope you enjoyed the Taiwanese Street food (ehhh but maybe not the stinky tofu haha)
Amazing meeting you too Noah!

Hi Bobby, nice video for the $1 meal challenge. A quick advice that avoid inserting chopsticks vertically on the rice, which is a taboo either in Taiwan, Japan, or China. We did it only for worshiping the deads.
You have done it again! Great vid my guy
Just discovered your channel! Really loving the content 🥰
Amazing video brother. I love when you made it to the night market, and found the SPICY gravy. :P That sounds awesome!
Such a nice guy bobby, thumbs up for bobby

Mhasib honestly I’m in my own world when creating lol

Bobby your videos are great, I just started watching them recently and am a big fan, you should come to Ireland and do a video on that as that's one you actually haven't covered yet.
My favorite UA-camr ❤️👌
Do a video of bargaining on every item you buy in a country 🙌🏼
That'll have to become a series haha
Centauri A Ik that will be fire 🔥
Yes I too want to watch the local people have their time wasted and not have enough money to feed their families
doge&catmemes do u want to stfu?
The way you talk bro
I love it
love u bobby! 💌
When I was in Taiwan I couldn't even get close to the fried stinky tofu! The smell was way too pungent and I gagged if I got a wiff. I had to hold my breath and run into a shop if I smelt it. The smell lingers in your hair and on your clothes and you can even smell it in the sewers! But grilled stinky tofu was bearable! I didn't eat it but my friend got it, and I held it and took a picture lol
Jenna Zimmer oh snap! Your hair!? Lol, gotta have someone check that out lol for me, it smelled like dirty socks, but had so much flavor on it!
LivingBobby Glad you enjoyed it! You’ll be smelling it for days!! 🧦
Who else would want to travel across the world and eat dollar food for a living? 😂
I'd love to do that! However, I don't have that kind of luxury to travel the entire world right now :(
12:39 lol the old man in is head is probably like ‘these damn americans’😂😂😂
