    These reasons are
    1. Great Climate
    2. Great Beaches

    Great video, Iwas born in Sao Paulo in 1949, my family moved to USA in 1961, I am now 74 and live in Chicago. I travelled back to Brazil many times over the past decades, and the one big difference I noticed between Brazil and USA is the people. I find Americans are always STREESSED out, in Brazil they are so much more RELAXED, I, living in Chicago am always stressed and I just hate it! If I was of age in 1961, like 18 or so, I would have never come to live in USA, If I was younger now, I would pack my bags and go to Florianopolis tomorrow!

    Well, as a Brazilian, there is something that can be perceived when I hear foreigners that moved to my country: If you are middle-class at least, you might have a good quality of living here, mainly in the countryside. Nevertheless, low-class people struggle to survive here. In general, Brazil is indeed a good country to live.

      @@Rarity01 I went to a public hospital and I was grateful. They still took care of me even though I’m not Brazilian. I lived in a neighborhood that many local Brazilians considered “challenged,” or “lacking in money,” but for ME it was a tremendous improvement because of friendly people and no snow. Problems due to people because they have unmet needs: eu vi (I saw). However, neighbors keeping an eye on the kids in the street, and sharing water or a plate of mandioca com arroz, this I saw even more. I love Brazil. I hope to return someday.

    You do a very good job of hitting on the points that some would fail to include and that’s well done. Could you do a tour of a grocery store/shop and give some prices to demonstrate the cost of living a bit? Subscribed 👍

      Thanks for the video suggestions, I will definitely do a tour of some stores and show prices

    • @yofilmes
      @yofilmes Рік тому

      I am Brazilian and I could to do a tour to help you with this example and many others, but I don't speak English LOL. So I'll try to help by stating that we have many good things in my country, but when it comes to "purchasing power," Brazil still falls short due to high taxes applied to certain products and services. To compare these costs of living, you can simply use a basic conversion rate of 1 to 1 ($1 USD) to (R$1 BRL). This way, you can estimate the values of products and services offered in anything from your hometown. For example: In Brazil, 1 liter (0.26 US gal) of gasoline costs R$ 5.50 (national average), while in the US, 1 gallon (3.78 liters) costs an average of $3.50. Of course, the United States is an exception as it is economically developed but maintains a lower value for fuel compared to other developed countries. When it comes to income, the average minimum wage in Brazil is R$ 1,320, while in the US it is around $1,276 for an average 40-hour workweek. And this is where the 1-to-1 factor comes into play. When it comes to currency conversion, things change a bit, and that's when you'll see that we are at a disadvantage. For example: 1 USD = 5 BRL (a 2-liter Coca-Cola in Brazil costs around R$ 15, while in the US it costs around 3 USD). I hope this helps.

    Our currency has been really undervalued for the past years, so I really see how it'd make sense to move here if you earn in Swedish krona, Euros or Dollar. Despite criminality and the lack of some services - some cities do not have even proper sewage systems, the country has so much inequality - there are some things here that keep me from emigrating. Our fresh food availability is one of them, my freedom to be myself, express myself and build my own life, my passion for the Portuguese language, our music, humor, climate, our holidays, it all makes it hard to leave the place. Also, I live in Belo Horizonte, which is a big city, one of the safest among Brazilian capitals (although far from what I expect), so I still hope we can fix and build this place as time goes on...

    • @yofilmes
      @yofilmes Рік тому +4

      It's like the visa from BR to USA. The visa situation in Brazil can vary depending on the purpose of your visit and your country of citizenship. Brazil has different types of visas, including tourist visas, work visas, student visas, and more. For tourists from many countries, Brazil offers a visa exemption for a certain period, typically 90 days. However, it's important to check the specific requirements and regulations based on your country of citizenship, as some nationalities may require a visa even for tourism purposes. For those planning to work or study in Brazil, it is necessary to obtain the appropriate visa before entering the country. This typically involves applying at a Brazilian embassy or consulate and providing the required documentation, such as a job offer or acceptance letter from an educational institution. It's important to keep in mind that visa regulations can change, so it's recommended to check with the nearest Brazilian embassy or consulate in your country or visit the official website of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the most up-to-date information on visa requirements and procedures.
