@@willdatsun I'm looking to buy one of these. They seem to be more rare nowadays and I wonder if these problems are now too common among the last surviving units, due to their age... I love vintage gear, but maybe for pianos I should go with a modern digital one.
@@luismsgomes @Luís Gomes if it is something internal in the chips i don't hold up much hope but if it is one of the fairly ordinary components (or multiples of) it should be quite fixable. I'm not that great with electronics so waiting for someone else to help with it. This piano has a really nice feel to it, proper wooden keys.

ended up using a noise gate as my issue is a lot quieter, but similar.
