Fear has kept me from doing so many things, but since Jesus came into my life, I find I'm not nearly as fearful anymore. With Him all things are now possible!
Once i started to realize that you simply cannot believe what your mind is telling sometimes
I love that you talked about different kinds of fear here. I've quit my job and hiked across the country before, which a lot of people have called fearless, but I was literally terrified today to call up the guy I've been chatting with online for the first time. ha. But I pushed through! One of my favorite sayings these days is "Do it Scared."
So deep and so simple; what's the gap between where I am & where I wanna be is 25% fear 25% laziness & 50% of lack of determination (which I know I have the power of determination) but I'm not using it. Lord Jesus, help me make the decision and just do it!
We are often scared of the anxiety itself. Like panic attacks. You feel like you cannot breathe. Think about the truth. If you actually were not able to breathe, you wouldn't be able to talk or even stand up. There are other things that fuel anxiety, but you can make that manageable by stopping the fear of fear.
Lucifer = lose if I fear... Thank you brother for such a great simple lesson to help us overcome this. Rise up old Church of God, as for more of His Holy Spirit to strengthen encourage and guide you!

I was married for 50 years to a woman who was a narcissist. She died 3 years ago. Last year I married a lovely Filipina woman whose first husband was a serial adulterer.
After I married her I discovered Romans 7 1-3 and Luke 16 18 so now we are being divorced.
I am in deep depression. I have panic attacks. I can't sleep. I have high blood pressure and occular migraine.
She has returned to the Philippines and is training for a new career because she gave up a good job to be with me. It is a disaster
