    Resolve just needs to add the SHIFT option to all dragging actions to constrict to either the x or y axis. That would help in so many tools... Specifically in curves

    wait what was the alignment point to begin with? the whit dot?? blue dot?? etc.

    • @meaanz
      @meaanz 3 місяці тому +1

      Doesn’t matter. It will just change the luminosity. If you don’t want it to change, align all the points with the white one

    Aligning horizontally? Could you explain this further ..?

      He aligned them left to right - red, white, blue horizontally. Bringing the blue dot down and the red dot up to align them with the white

    Whaaat!?😂 that was awesome. But I do wonder:
    Are there any pros and cons between this or using the white balance tool instead?

      Look at the dots red and blue he aligned it horizontally

      Yea i dont think he lined them up perfectly but they should be on the same horizon line but it was definitely confusing lol and helpful at the same time 😂

    • @bimmian328

      After grouping, he moved the dots so they all line up left to right/jorizontally

      The reason is that the luminance (y value/or up and down axis) of that red or blue or green should be identical to one another.

    • @TobyFieldhouse
      @TobyFieldhouse 8 місяців тому +3

      Make sure not to move them left or right. Just drag the red, green and blue dots up or down until they're level with the white dot (correct me if I'm wrong though)

    I tryed that, but It doesn't look so precise, you may moove the dots left or right even If you don't want to. Maybe there is something I didn't understand...
