Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I having been trying to find this video to learn this style indicative to the Eastern Woodland People. 😀👍
This is so helpful, thank you so much!!
Thank you for this video, Karen! I'm finally picking up the oblique weaving :) I've just got a test piece for now but I'll do a full belt in it soon.
Merci !!
Was meant to do this in school but had to leave. Have continued to look for this type of weaving with no success 'til now so happy thank you Karen. Would like to know the origins. Thank you very much.
Ineresting video. What is the ratio of length of yarn to length of finished product?
Did some of your videos get taken down? I can’t find your materials video or how to get started but right handed
I hope they didn’t! Here is the materials video and I only did right/left handed videos of weaving a row and doing a border. If you go to my channel there should be an option to see all I think.

Any tips on how to start it off
Sure! Start with this video and that should help. ua-cam.com/video/hr6UZX6xns4/v-deo.html
I think she means how did you get to this point, because following your directions on row one looks nothing like what you have here
How can I turn my weaving into a bracelet? 🙏
Hi there! The best way is to sew the ends over in a flat-fell seam. Just be sure and sew a seam on the ends before cutting anything so your ends don’t unravel.
The weaving should be stretchy enough to pull on like a sock when it’s seamed. Just be sure not to make it too short/tight but I like doing that instead of tied fringe so nothing hangs off. I’d love to see your bracelet!

I’m learning! Thank you! I had jury duty and no knitting needles allowed so I decided to learn finger weaving. I’m hooked!
