OMG I've just finished watching In Time With You and I really really really LOVED it! It had me both laughing and crying. I loved how the drama beautifully portrayed love, friendship, family and the passing of time. I also really liked all the symbolism they used. Thank you so much for recommending it; it is now one of my all-time favourites! :)
Finally someone who understands the concept of a personal favourite list! :) Just because BOF is considered to be one of the best Korean dramas it doesn't have to be my number one...
If you haven't seen them yet, then you could check out Playful Kiss (Korean version) and Itazura na Kiss (Japanese version). Also you might be interested in Romantic Princess (Taiwanese) and Lie To Me (Korean).
In Time With You is really good, also you can check out Bull Fighting, Romantic Princess, Devil Beside You, Love Buffet, Smiling Pasta, Tokyo Juliet and Absolute Boyfriend.
I almost forgot that Full House 2 is airing soon. This series is also based on Woo Soo Yeon's original Full House manhwa . Synopsis: Jang Man Ok is an aspiring writer. She later gets contracted in a false engagement with top star, Lee Tae Ik. Cast: No Min Woo (yayyy!
Thanks! BOF is on the list so that means it's one of my favorites. (Trust me I have seen much more dramas than this 30 that I've listed here.) I just like other dramas more. :)
You are right! Katase Nana played the stylist character (RINA) and the girl on the picture is indeed Kojima Haruna who played NANA. Thank you for correcting me! :)
Most of the K Dramas that you listed are some of my faves. I don't watch that many Japanese dramas though but two that I have watched are there. Try watching some Taiwanese dramas they're pretty good and thier kisses are more passionate than most K Dramas.
Well what you just described is basically what I love about Playful Kiss. I really liked how they never took the plot/characters etc... seriously. Since it is based on a manga they could do anything with the story and I’m glad they choose the "make it funny and exaggerated" route. ISWAK sometimes was annoying because they tried to make it look like that this whole story is possible in real life. While we all know man can NEVER be as perfect as Seung Jo :)
than u will definitely like it......i was not sure at first but when i watched i really loved it.........they r awesome and they have happy ending......this drama made me park shi hoo fan
Here are my recommendations in categories. 1. From my list: Nodame, My Lovely Sam Soon, Personal Taste. 2. Very funny Korean movies: Seducing Mr. Perfect, Too Beautiful to Lie, My Sassy Girl, Windstruck (the last two share the same actress and have a beautiful story besides being funny.) 3. Dramas that I haven't watched yet but I plan to: Fantasy Couple, Dal Ja's Spring, My Love Patzzi, City Hall, Smiling Pasta (Taiwanese). These dramas were recommended to me by a good friend whose taste I trust.
I tried to watch Rolling Love which has Jiro Wang and Danson Tang in it (I really liked them in ISWAK) but I couldn't finish it. The main actress annoyed the hell out of me :) But I have to agree with you, taiwanese dramas are much better when it comes to kisses. Actually there should be a video made with the title of "Most ridiculously awkward kdrama kisses" :D By the way I've just started the taiwanese version of Absolute Boyfriend, so far so good!
Well just to name a few: Dream High, God Of Study, Hello My Teacher, Jungle Fish 2, Playful Kiss, Gokusen, Hana Kimi, Ouran High School Host Club, Mackerel Run, Love Story In Harvard, Buzzer Beat, Shut Up Flower Boy Band, Reply 1997, School 2013, Heartstrings, White Christmas. If you need more info on them just type in the title + dramawiki in google search.
Nodame is a drama that you either love or hate. It has an anime feel to it which I really love, and also the male lead is very hot. :) Good for you, I don't really have time to watch dramas lately. :(
Yeah, I like him a lot. :) Actually I'm planning on doing a top 5 favourite male Korean actors video in the future. He will definitely rank high on that list too! :)
J-drama :nobuta wi produce. I liked the scene when they demonstrate to their friend on how she should act when going on a date & there was a teacher watching behind them and they feel awkward because the teacher got the wrong idea... K-drama: your beautiful/your handsome, mary stayed up all night, my girl,it started with a kiss, personal taste, and boys over flowers
Also: some scenes were so extreme that I was literally LOL-ing. There were jokes that were obvious (like the motorcycle blowing up) but also there were a lot of subtle ones. And I don’t care what anyone says, but Kim Hyun Joong is a pretty good actor, His facial expressions were downright hilarious. The side characters were very good too. For example Ha Ni’s friends were way funnier than in ISWAK, not to mention Bong Joon Gu. When I think of romantic comedies this is the perfect example.
@SueFantastiic Thanks! As for Goong and BOF: I think both dramas are good, but as you can probably see from the list I'm more into action/comedy dramas, these two were a bit too dramatic for me if you know what I mean :) Also I didn't like the ending of Goong and in BOF's case I had a serious 2nd lead syndrome Kim Hyun Joong
i think that historical dramas have a much better plot than present day dramas, just like in "the moon that embraces the sun" (i LOVE!!!! a MUST WATCH drama!)
i was so suprised .. that princess hours and boys over flowers .. are on the last positions .. but ^^ ok .. i think this is personal taste ... apart from that i like your list .. ^^
There is an upcoming drama with Lee Jun Ki which also sounds interesting: Arang and the Magistrate. It'll be airing from July on MBC. Summary: Set in the Joseon Dynasty period, a female ghost (Shin Min-A), who was murdered, appears in front of a government official (Lee Jun Ki) and pleads for the man to punish her murderer. The government official then attempts to appease her wishes. I'm so glad Lee Jun Ki got discharged, he is a great actor and I love all the dramas/films he has been in so far.
I'm afraid I can't recommend anything as good as In Time With You. However I have some suggestions :) Recently I've been wathcing "time travel" themed dramas: Rooftop Prince, Love Rain and JIN. Rooftop Prince and Love Rain are still airing, but I can already say they are quite good dramas. Also there is a Korean version of JIN coming soon starring Song Seung Hun and Kim Jaejoong. You can find more info on them here: wiki.d-addicts(dot)com/Rooftop_Prince ; /Love_Rain ; /JIN ; /Time_Slip_Dr._Jin
@riko lee the taiwanese version of playfull kiss is aloooot better in most ppl opinion tho the video quality ep 1 to the ep when the get married isnt that great (i think it came it out 04?) the story is really great and funny very refreshing!
aw, such a smile came to my face as i remembered all the dramas and movies i've watched play in the video. happy memories! thanks!

I think we have a similar taste! I've checked out your channel, I love Ouran High School Host Club too! Oh and also Goo Goo Dolls! ❤
That's because these are the dramas that I've seen yet and liked. I'm planning on watching Gokusen because I heard it's really good!
love nodame cantabile, it's probably my favorite japanese drama so far
Thanks for the recommendations! :) I haven't seen One Litre of Tears yet, but I don't really like dramas that are very-very sad.
In Time With You is really good, also you can check out Bull Fighting, Romantic Princess, Devil Beside You, Love Buffet, Smiling Pasta, Tokyo Juliet and Absolute Boyfriend.
I haven’t seen it yet but I heard good things about it. I will definitely check it out in the future.

Thanks! BOF is on the list so that means it's one of my favorites. (Trust me I have seen much more dramas than this 30 that I've listed here.) I just like other dramas more. :)
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely check it out. I love Ariel Lin, she is so cute! :)
Chevere los videos ... gracias
Agreed! :) I have yet to watch Big but I'm sure it will be awesome since Gong Yoo is in it.
You are right! Katase Nana played the stylist character (RINA) and the girl on the picture is indeed Kojima Haruna who played NANA. Thank you for correcting me! :)
I'm glad you liked the video! :)
i see, I guess I will try to watch it again, thank you!

Thanks! :) I love Rooftop Prince too! I should probably do an updated list...
Actually I've been his fan since 2005 :) I saw him in Delightful Girl Choon Hyang (he had a little cameo in the first couple of episodes).
Ikemen desu ne is the Japanese version, also there is a Taiwanese version coming up with Jiro Wang as the male lead.
than u will definitely like it......i was not sure at first but when i watched i really loved it.........they r awesome and they have happy ending......this drama made me park shi hoo fan
