Nice video again 👍 Shaun, quiet but for the slurping of the coffee ☕.. yes, bait distribution has seemingly been crucial to yr success.. no blanks for ages.. ne'er mind.. Yr fishing 🎣 for wellbeing message is well received..so wrap up waarrrm folks and get on the bank🙂
Good vlog again mate, no you blanked but like you said it's getting out there, fair play mate, carry on the good stuff, I did watch your last pike vlog enjoyed that aswell brilliant 👍🎣
I missed the live poxy Internet quality advice anytime spent is quality time & space from the outside word onto the next adventure tightlines look forward to the next video 👊 🎣
awsome video Shaun. hate this time of year at times days very short an carp harder to catch.. hope to get back fishin myself on Thursday my syndicate sufferd with flood from the storm🎣
That’s exactly why I miss shackles!! Alone time 😂 yea boggy fields and pegs but nice to get out and enjoy it, carry a throwing stick for them reasons too might not use but bloody handy
Good advice! Just get out there! I have had very little time to get out fishing the past 2 months, managed to squeeze in a 4 hour session before having to work in the evening. Thats 4 weeks without a day off and it starts hurting! I hope I have a bit of free time on Thursday or Friday for a short session before working every day until, well, almost Christmas day!
That’s some serious hours at work! Remember your time is more valuable than money, don’t give away all your time. Hope you can get out on the bank soon 👍
Couple of points Shaun, more tea required regardless of the session length & never wear Crocs when muddy you have been warned 🤣 tough short session in pony conditions sensible advice regarding enjoying your fishing 👍🏻
Carrying a light throwing stick with you at all times is another way of getting around the catapult being out of action, they hardly weigh anything. Always nice to get out in the bank regardless of how long its for 👍
That's a luxury swim here in Ireland 😁, chest waders are almost mandatory in winter. A bit sad really that a lake with carp to mid 20's is'nt of much interest, so much of fishing these days is driven just by lbs and ozs.
It is sad, I really don’t understand why being outdoors and just enjoying the simplicity of catching a fish is now not enough…it has to be ‘big’ to be fun 🤷🏼♂️
@@TheFishingBloggers It's great to catch a big fish, but they can't all be 'big' fish. I grew up next to a park lake in Cork in the 1960's/70's. It had mixed species, rudd, tench etc and also some carp, mostly doubles with a few 20's. The 20's were monsters to our eyes, almost mythical.
Very good vid,i can tell your a proper angler,as you get it..!!! Chap in my villiage ,new to angling, wont entertain fishing for carp unless its got named 30s..awful,he been angling for less than 12 months, not an angler..😂 Where did you get your water bottle holster,holder..cheers..
We all go fishing for our own reasons, I enjoying targeting a big fish now and then. The rat race and ‘burden’ of too much kit has taken the fun away from session fishing for me, I prefer a more mobile in and out approach now.
Talking about neglected lakes, there's loads near me that are overgrown, disused or closed down now. The gravel company has started filling 2 in with dirt off the gravel wash and leaving the fish in it..Must be at least 10 closed in the last 10yrs within 20 miles to me...Been trying to lease/buy some of them.
Shame you blanked this time but as you said it's about enjoying time out on the bank n to be honest I reckon you could of thrown 18mm out to your spot by hand
Just finished watching this one as I missed it Tuesday, now to watch todays vids, love being on the bank👌🏻
Thanks for watching 👊🏼👍🏻

The blanks make the catching even more rewarding 😊
Great watch again Shaun!
Thank you 🙏
Another great point 👈🏼🤣
I’m getting good at making my points now, really get stuck into the point of my points. That’s essentially the point I’m making.

@@billcollins6705 a twenty is still a great fish in my eyes. Yea there’s loads of them about now, but it’s still a decent chunk of a fish 😊
Keeping it real.ive been looking at my bobbins. thinking will they ever move again.
😂😂😂 give them a cheeky tweak 😉
Good effort Shaun maybe carry a throwing stick as a replacement for a broken catapult? Thanks for our fishing fix
Yep, need to get one back in the armoury 🏹

@@adamroots3429 the water bottle carrier is just a molle one from off eBay.
Well fella school boy error 🙈l always carry a spare catty, throwing stick comes to mind, anyway as you said your out doing it 👍
Yep, spare catty and stick on the shopping list
The catching was bad but the fishing was good
I've slipped many times in the mud 😂
Getting to the rods was like a day at Alton towers! 😂

That’s sounds rubbish! Why they closing them down and filling them in???
Still enjoying your video don't catch them sitting on the couch and as you have said just good to be outdoors 👍
Can’t beat some fresh air and a coffee ☕️
