The repaint has removed plastic shine of the figure. Changing the round spots to splashing look is awesome. The figure looks more natural after fixing. Fantastic work!
It is hard and bold to improve such a single colour, especially white figure. Yet, you can make it by adding different layers of colours. It is not a simple process!
You absolutely blew Spot out of the water!! While I’m personally more of a fan of his second look (with the big spot in his midriff and the tiny one on his face) the way you fixed this particular figure makes me like this particular iteration even more!!
i think the overpainting with the white over the base black dots really helped with the naturality of the spots and almost makes it look like they're void in this body
It's impressive how you made it look straight out of the film. It's simple enough for me to feel comfortable attempting myself. I may just have to because seeing the before and after, I realized you were 100% correct about Spot not being white but more light gray. Keep up the great work!
Not to understate any of your other work but this is my favorite of yours so far! You achieved his look perfectly, the side by side shots really look like he's hand drawn. Great job, wish you could do my figure now! 😂
Hey Ken. I'm not sure if you'll read this, but I was rewatching your old Optimus Primal and Dinobot video from 2 years ago. I'd love to see you do more Transformers stuff on your channel, like cell-shading or just fixing mainline hasbro figures.
No main changes but the effect of fixing is obvious. No matter the white body or the black spots are much better after fixing. Gwen is very lively and fun in the photoshoot.
The dots are much better and realistic after fixing. The splashing look of the dots is fun.

They should’ve included the hat he was wearing in the store scene, that would’ve made this figure way better posing. Great job too man
Hey Ken I just wanted to inform you that I found dark flash and young Barry on Amazon😊
