Very happy you're back with the mosaics again. I so enjoy these videos. Regarding boxes with hinged lids, if the underneath has a lip (like on the little drawers you showed), small heavy ceramic tiles (from a home improvement store) can be attached to act as a counter weight when the lid is open and the lip will conceal them. I've also used strips of heavy metal to achieve the same effect. I think these were from the same department gate hinges etc. are in.

Why not have the larger tiles hang over the edge of the frame
