    Hello from Samos Greece.
I'm really enjoying the beautiful work you are doing.
I am just starting the hobby, passion and learning allot from you . Thank you.
You build a banker curve . Kato has banked curves. Outside rail is higher.
Enjoy the build, have a good time doing it.
    Write more soon .
    All the best Steve.

Thanks, Steve. Yes, Kato does make track with superelevation. Depending on your style and layout, it works well. I have some ready for running Shinkansen on a separate little Japanese layout. Iain

    Are your curves super elevated?

Some are, yes. I go back and forth on whether it's worth the effort though! Iain

@@gncascadedivision I found a simple solution for the problem. At the beginning of the curve I start with a .010 small strip of styrene placed underneath ties outside of the rail. I work my way around the curve adding small strips of.020, ..030 and finally .040 in the middle of the curve and then work my way down again. The styrene allows you to make any adjustments necessary and a little dab of glue holds them in place and the ballast hides everything.

Math is off, it's 2" foam or raised subroadbed. Very common approach. This lets you have embankments and elevation changes around the track rather than everything being flat on plywood and looking boring. Whatever works for you though. Iain
