I feel the most pointless EE was on Shaolin Shuffle, where you had to get a wheel to a door in the Subway. It took so long to do, and it did absolutely nothing.
Nunchakus have a full heal with every hit along an area stun plus hit kill until 35. Its a very good weapon specially if you did not completed the main quest on the map and evey step can be done in 1 or 2 rounds. And if you are playing with Pam Grier, the Nunchakus can be obtained at the wheel.
Hey Dalek concerning the Mars Easter egg on Tag Der Toten on BO4,i must correct you…..it’s ACTUALLY just Treyarch making cheeky reference to fan theories from back in days on BO1 that they debunked,which was fans thinking Shangri was on Mars. All that is is Treyarch making a reference :)

I'm surprised the troll EE from Shaolin isn't here since it was way more convoluted and just gave you a calling card.
How is it pointless? Challenging and gives you legit the best weapon on the map especially if paired with 4th slot ethereal razor. You.literally become unkillable and can kill entire hordes with 1-2 knives
The exquisite is great. You pretty much always get it in 4 player because each player gets 1 trap core. Golden teeth are basically free with how easy it is to get them.
The exquisite core is also pretty busted on either the m1 for the fire rate boost or on the banshee Doppler shotgun. Those 2 guns with that core will carry you to round 45 - 50.
just so everyone knows, every one can get each upgrade how many times they want, everyone can get the same element, or even one get the same element in 2/3 guns and you can get an element another person did too (if the element is still waiting to be put in a gun), all one need is a gun with a clean arcane core and to wait a few rounds for the ship to comeback after it's element was done, so you can repeat the proccess to get it over and over.
the der eisendrache easter egg which turns all zombies into skeletons is pointless or actually detrimental to gameplay making them really hard or impossible to see with them blending in with the snow
how many people have the sentinnel unlcoked tho? X-quisite is good when you are still testing stuff in the game. After you unlock Sentinnel or just want to use the meta M1 garand with wind i agree tho.
I think the upgraded shield on shadows is pointless cuz it only upgrades the shield in your hands, if it breaks and you pick up a new one you have the original version and have to upgrade it again if you want it back. That’s definitely worse than the trip mines
I only played Blood because it had god mode and soul key glitch - which till this day its not patched. But to get the golden spork knife that sounds like too much effort - never done it

You could literally just sit there with your back to the cafeteria door with 2 players, one person with the invisibility glitch and the without. Get the Outlaw sniper or Paladin fully PAP and it insta kills zombies. You could leave your console for an hour come back and you'd be fine

I agree, we should have had to change the bus to a 3rd route, lure the Avogadro, trap him in a power generator, then go back to the tower, use the lamp post step, then use the generator under the tower to siphon the Avogadro’s power to the tower and activate it. An use the wonder weapon (it doesn’t break but over heats) to maybe grab a capacitor from the lab to contain the Avogadro. Then we still activate the tower but we do it in a way where the Avogadro is contained and not free. 3.I agree, it should have been kind of like pac man where you can find them all at once randomly and then just put them in the crocks mouth and be done. 4. Yeah, I feel this should have been a boss fight area for the map instead of a long step of stay in the bubble 5.Yeah this is pointless 6. I wish the hats were like 4 hats instead of such a large amount 7.it’s vanguard 8.I wish the trip mines when upgraded would have been like the multi explosion dolls where it’s a larger aoe and more power 9.should have really been constant to a higher round
Imo, i wouldnt say the bowie knife upgrade is the first per say, in Kino Der Toten the Bowie would actually combine with the Ballistic Knife then you could pack the Ballistic.

I read somewhere that with the transit Easter egg they didn’t have enough room on the game for another map that would be unlocked if you had all the key card and put them into their machines with the tower of babble Easter egg being the portal to that new map. I was so disappointed doing all that for nothing but a trophie
I would of put the old modern warfare song on “zombies in space land” you had to find 3 teddy bears on the map and there are like 100+ spawn locations.
Most pointless for sure is the Billionaires Treasure Hunt in Shaolin Shuffle. Only Time gated easter egg in zombies and is pretty convoluted. Just to get the Trolltastic Calling Card.

Quick story time relating to a time where I accidently got the "secret" on tag der toten So, I was doing the main steps on the map, and me and my squad went to golden pap to, y'know, get our guns fully packed (as one does) and my squad makes it to golden pack! Where did I end up? In the cave, all alone, with no heatpack or specialist to be seen.

How can you not mention the zetsubou no Shima multiplayer jumpscare where it spawned a clone of you to scare a teammate but was super difficult and awkward to ever even get to work

The plunger is actually fairly useful for high rounds/completing the ee since it gives you the ability to kill panzers with one hit of the plunger immediately after you kill one normally
Looking at the UI and UX on bo3 and vanguard feels so different, while bo3 made it simple and minimal, vanguard feels like it's hogging way too much screen space. The downhill that call of duty in general has gone into is sad :(

For me it was the plunger in Der Eisendrache. If I remember correct it didn’t do anything different then the base knife.
The plunger is actually fairly useful for high rounds/completing the ee since it gives you the ability to kill panzers with one hit of the plunger immediately after you kill one normally
You can 1 shot all enemies and bosses for 2 minutes if you kill a panzer amazing for the boss fight
