Me 71 now, Wagon Train brings back many good memories growing up. Loved the show. I did not know 90% of those secrets you have shown. ty Love the channel.. from SE Texas Bear :)
I was a fan of Wagon Train. I watched all the episodes. Thank you for showing this. I enjoyed this show very much. I didn't know JOHN WAYNE played I an episode. I loved the entire cast. Horton was a favorite , I guess they all were. Again you brought back happy memories of my youth. Thank you for being there for me again 😊
The actor I like to watch is Terry Wilson. He usually hangs back and not draw attention to himself. But if an episode features him in a larger role, he is ALL IN!!
My favorite character is Charlie Wooster (Frank McGrath). I like how he adds comedy in the drama, mainly about his cooking and whiskey-laced coffee and just being a plain "dim-wit" for his character. Also enjoy the episodes that highlight him. My favorite "Wooster" episode is the "Charlene Brenton Story", where Charlie takes care of a baby and gets into a shoot-out with Major Adams, the Grandfather of the baby (played by Raymond Bailey of Beverly Hillbillies), and a gung-ho sheriff as Charlie wants to keep the baby all to his own, he'll kill people to defend it, which was unusually out of his character to use a gun on the Major and play that slight-second serious role. Was sad to see Charlie crying over the baby near the end, I though it was good episode for Wooster. My second episode would have to be "Chuck Wooster: Wagonmaster" the scene where Charlie prays to God to help keep the citizens on the wagon train safe due to Major Adams, McCullough, and Hawks missing. Episode 3: "The Major Adams Story" (part 1)...the scene where Wooster is being disciplined by Maj. Adams in his HQ tent as a new recruit in the Union Army standing alongside of Hawks at attention. Laughed my butt off on that scene because it was something I can relate to when I was a new infantry recruit myself in the Army many moons ago when I turned 18 and getting chewed out by a few Officers and shaking in my boots literally. This was the episode that got me into liking Wooster's character. The one I still haven't seen yet is the one called "Charlie Wooster: Outlaw". This episode always gets skipped on any channel out there that has Wagon Train. I have the STARZ Channel as an added subscription, but even that channel has a few WT episodes missing for their playlist, including that one. There is a distorted video of this episode on You Tube, but hard to comprehend what I'm watching at 240p...beggars can't be choosers in this case I guess. The DVD does have that episode on their Season 6 (episode 22) list, but not about to pay 200-300 dollars for a "used" set from eBay or Amazon, that's ridiculous, even for "new", not that desperate yet, lol. Hoping someone out there re-produces the entire Wagon Train Series all in one box-set like they previously did for "Gunsmoke", and in HD since the video quality from the WT DVD's are in poor condition, I do have Season 1 DVD and it's horrible as far as video quality. No wonder it was so cheap for Season 1. Just bought seasons 7 & 8 DVD's and they're just as bad when I thought there'd be improvements, guess not! So I'm done buying for now until they remaster them, sorry Charlie (no pun intended). Thanks for sharing your videos. I watch a lot of your "facts" videos. Interesting, and to the point without the "song and dance" intros which we don't need. And great work! 👍👍🪖
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! We're glad to know that you love our video. What other types of video would you like to see on Facts Verse?
