he has been talking about the darkling in a very moderate way and it makes us feel like there will be a redemption for him, i guess that's why leave us alone
this is such a great cast and looks like an incredible show, and im not talking about this interview in particular but i dont like how the interviewers have been spoiling the show in the questions:/
Agreed! I’m a fan and reader but you can’t build the show just catering to us. I want it to intrigue non-readers and make them extra curious about this awesome rendition of Russian/Asian fantasy, for heaven sakes! I also commented that on another interview - a good one, except the questions totally made reveals to non-readers and the interviewer replied! ‘I feel ya, but all the questions are pre-approved by Netflix’. The interviewer has 1M subs, he’s great and now I’m totally peevish that NETFLIX would do this. The reader fan base is not enough. Though we love our bubble :) . Don’t they have marketing strategists?
When Eric said 'it raised the stakes for the kids', my heart melted because at the end of the day, these main characters were essentially kids. They were teenagers, who despite having been through a lot, are still growing up and well, are figuring themselves out and seeing him acknowledge that and take cognizance of that fact is so heartwarming.
They are probably talking about the scene where Ben scrapes that ring on her hand and the light comes out. So episode one would be basically establishing everyone as a character, they will probably show the crows pulling off a heist, the darkling doing something, Alina and Mal's relationship, how everyone treats Alina (since she is part Shu), who the grisha are and what they do, Zoya, Nina and Mathais, etc. Then they end the episode with Alina saving everyone. I think there is more than enough to show in around 45 mins.
i think it makes sense! the first ep is probably introducing both the crows and the grisha and them entering the fold/being attacked by the volcra, like in shadow and bone
"Here we are fighting over a woman again " 💀
🤣
I swear this is the best cast ever! We need season 2!
We haven't even seen season 1 yet, but everyone wants season 2!
The fact the interviewer has already seen it breaks my heart
And she’s on her second rewatch already 💀

The way Jessie imitated Archie’s walk is so cute
3:30 I didn't know Archie was a dad

kit didnt get to say what connected him to jesper 😔
I love them 😩
Wait she only sees the light on episode 2??? then what did they fill the rest of the time of the Alina storyline in episode 1 with?
thats what i was thinking, maybe it’s just like orphanage flashbacks or something and the crows being the crows
