Chinese ships flee! Philippines and US deploy all their flagship warships.
January 17-18, 2025, West Philippine Sea - The Philippines and the United States are once again strengthening their defense ties by holding the first Maritime Cooperation Activity (MCA) for 2025. The two-day exercise symbolizes the strategic partnership between the two countries in maintaining security in the Indo-Pacific region.
The Philippines deployed two of its flagship warships, the Jose Rizal-class frigate BRP Antonio Luna (FF-151) and the Del Pilar-class frigate BRP Andres Bonifacio (PS-17). The two ships join the United States Navy’s battle fleet consisting of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), the Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Princeton (CG-59), and the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Sterett (DDG-104)
