      Well, you can see it at 9:20. The inner part of his forearm, around the elbow, is massive. That's where the Pronator Teres sits.
      When you see bodybuilders and Strongmen on the table, the rest of the forearm might look big and strong, but that area always is thin / flat.

      @@TimmyTurner421 ya, the master of cup and pronation. I don't think it will be an easy road but John has a long time to train from now to the first match and between each of the next matches. He's obv improved and leaned out and is muscular again. I think he can win this. 95K is just a dif beast than open. Open class, at his age now, it would be extremely difficult. But 95k.....i think he can win. Can't wait!

  • @lucpilon1

    If you wanna top roll any bit in the strap you need a lose strap and keep the gap in between your palm and their palm. It’ll make it so u have room to pronate while the strap is on, because if u don’t you’ll be stuck hand to hand too much. That’s why your trying to stay fully pronated on the strap up to try and keep that gap. But that’s the focus. Not fully pronated, just try keeping a wide gapped cup and that’ll setup a lose strap.

    10:15 that's exactly how I look trying to toproll someone too strong for me. Backpressure isn't enough so using more lats, dumping the riser and pronating as hard as possible to not get turned in.

Do u take on a certain persona...say stuff on purpose to help with your overall game? Does this really make a difference in ur expetience? Ps...love ur vids and your 'humble' approach to learning the sport... super super content here!

    • @gordonng8090
      @gordonng8090 5 років тому +1

      The best way in my opinion is to make them pin themselves. Trash talking really isn’t my game but holding them just above the pin line is the best way to drain their energy as well as make them feel weak/lose confidence which is what you want. However, holding them just above the pin pad should only be done if you are INCREDIBLY comfortable holding them in that position. The press is normally the best option as no side pressure hit can suddenly change the course of the match. But still be cautious by making sure your palm is always flat/parallel to the table and your arm is tucked all the way inside your body. A smart or experienced puller may immediately give up but stubborn pullers will just be killing themselves.

      Dylan Jones ie Chris Gobby Jr. Look at you, running around slamming Ryan all over the place like a little bitch. You are a real piece of work. Jealous much? You must be a real tough guy huh? And Ryan overconfident? Ni way. What was he supposed to do, *not* be confident, plan on losing and telling everybody that? Who even does that? Lmfao! You're talking about Zloty, the most competitive league in the world. A lot of good pro's don't even go over there and compete for this very reason. They don't want to take the hits and stack losses. But Ryan doesn't care about that. He cares about getting better, continually iimproving and promoting the great sport of arm wtestling. Much like when Ermes gasparini came here and fough in WAL, he had to deal with different rules, different size pads, different setups not knowing the language, time zone change/jet lag etc. It was his first time, it's to be expected. Ryan was in the same boat but he never whined about that. Speed was the major difference. Europeans have that style, big hits off the go. It wasn't all about power. Ryan isn't a fast puller. He's a lot like Larratt. A slow burn. Absorbing the hits, bleeding his guy. Ryan just has to become faster after ready go and that'll improve his game a lot against the fast hard hitting style. He was not used to dealing with guys like that. But look how well he did against chance who hits fast n hard. Ryan has already improved a good amount since Zloty and will continue to. Where has he had his ass kicked besides there lately? He hasn't. He hasn't even lost a match outside of Zloty for about 2 years now. He beat Evan Heroine, Dallas Langston, Dan Moshier, Alan Guerra and Chance Shaw who is extremely good and a heavyweight. Ryan has done nothing but win lately And then he goes over there and loses for the first time in a long time and clowns like you want to jump all over him for it. You got a real hair across your ass If you dislike someone this much for nothing but loving arm wrestling and wanting to win. *No one wins every match dummy.* You don't even know the guy. He's done nothing but good things for the sport. If you love arm wrestling, then you'll appreciate this. But you dont. Your just hating. Then again, like I told in the other post on here, where you talked shit about John brzenk. Saying "John is a clown, a complete joke" ........ If you want to go around spreading your hate, at least do it to someone that deserves it. Do it to a real piece of shit. Like yourself. Not good people. But you're too stupid to understand that concept. Now, grab your little dunce cap, put it on and go sit in the corner and I'll let you know when it's time for you to come out and play. Until then, just shut your cocksucker. Staple it closed so you can't talk and cut ur fingers off so you can't type. Talking Shit about Ryan is bad enough. But talking shit about the GOAT as well? IMBECILE. That's your new name bud. Chris "The IMBECILE" Gobby Jr is perfect 👀🙊👌 P.S. I hope you appreciate the fact I took this much time out of my busy day 2 Try and educate you. I fear it shall be pointless but at least I tried. Don't be a douche.

      However if you’re “inside armwrestler”

    I see the Dustin dude pronating consistently. Like hes not hitting John in bursts of pronation but just keeps at a steady pressure till John's wrist slowly opens beyond a comfortable lvl. But to me it seems like Ryan pronates in bursts. It's almost like he pronates from 0-100% of his strength lvl.. then backs back down to 50% then jumps back up to 100% then backs back down again like hes trying to do a sort of re grip in pronation form. I think this is why Dustin is having a better time without a strap against John compared to Ryan.

You dont just decide youre not going to do it all the time. Why the hell wouldn't someone want to be better at what rheyre pretty much dedicating their LIVES to? I dont get that. Ryan you should tell John to go see Dr Beau Hightower. He is a chiropractor who has helped many elite athletes regain mobility and lessen if not eliminate their pains. Check out his UA-cam channel. Great videos!!

    Now all the UA-cam doctors come out pretending to offer advice for John's shoulder as though he hasn't researched for himself (and/or been to real doctors about it).

    I honestly don't think John is ready for top 8 tbh.

    Man, it's all about anthropometry, John has a bigger and longer arm than you, and when you set the grip, your points of contact are far from equal, he eats your grip completely, and you make unacceptable mistakes in the grip. Not in reproach to John this is said, he is certainly a legend, he is my favorite armwrestler, but this is a fact, this is the whole armwrestling, first of all it is ANTHROPOMETRY and therefore it is a hell of a job in the grade hall and so on.

    Like 2 different sports. With or without strap. Completely different knowledge sets required

    John was acting like a student when he was lectured about straps lol but on his mind , what the hell are you talking about? I'm the goat of arm wrestling and you lecturing me about straps? lol John's ego is as low as the deepest ocean in the world.

    John doesn’t teach as much as Devon to someone who doesn’t armwrestle i’m kind of lost without the commentary
