There are real reasons why a person would need to move immediately that should not cause a red flag. I am looking for a way to tell if the rental company is not a scam. The amount spent on application fees is crazy, especially when the places are not calling you back or clarifying what is needed to rent the place. I also am seeing a lot of rental places with no home base, or office. So as a tenant, you have quite a few restricted actions or red flags, but it's fine that we can not find you if we need to? These are some issues that I am seeing in Baltimore.
Unfortunately every red flag in the video does have real world examples of it being perfectly fine. The problem is that Baltimore heavily punishes landlords for getting it wrong. The eviction process takes so long that it is much better to just see it as a red flag and not take a chance
This was a GREAT video!!!! Many gems!!! Thank you!
Awesome stuff I love it. Thanks Simmy and Devin.
Awesome knowledge Devin!
