As much as Scar’s “science and discovery” is infamous, i would say his first wild life death is arguably more stupid. 3L had an unknown ravine, WL had a known hill. And also worth noting that him going f3 there was a self-inflicted sight handicap

The stupid part of his death was how stupidly lucky/unlucky it was. He hit the top of the door which slowed him down, if it wasn't for that, the dripstone would have missed.

Imo ethos death should be his last wl death because he killed himself w/his own trap. In dl, he died because Joel didnt land the bucket clutch, he wasnt even able to touch the ground so it wasnt his fault at all

Idk I don't really think Pearl's first death in wildlife was her fault. Watching the Imp and Skizz podcast with Grian that talked about the wild cards, Grian mentioned that the grow/shrink wildcard was supposed to be more of an introduction, and was considered simple enough that they felt they didn't need to test it, and as a result it had issues (falling off of blocks while shifting, getting stuck on blocks while jumping).
You’re not wrong but I feel that the lava death in Secret Life is still dumber. I don’t even really think that him blowing himself up in Wild Life beats it, but maybe him walking off of the launch platform as he was trying to get a closer look at the minecart moments prior to blowing himself up might😅
scar's stupidest death could've been the waterstream death and bdubs' stupidest death could've been the tnt catch death with scar mumbo's could've been the final wild life death also that wasn't joel's stupidest death, that was a task and you could've used a lot of his LimL deaths as a sub
He let it happen though and he died. I think it’s more dumb than the wild life last death because he just made the machine wrong but the last life creeper death was worse for sure.
Eh, I feel like Etho, Ren, Skizz and Joel have dumber deaths than those Etho's last death in Wild, any of Ren's Snail deaths, Skizz falling off the ladder inside T.I.E.S Base, and Joel blowing himself up inside Lizzie's mushroom home all seem like better picks to me.
Pearl’s was her season of Wild Life being finished off by Grian after she threw an ender pearl that sent her flying straight into tall bamboo that led her to fall down to like around 3 hearts Etho’s was the wind charge explosion that ended his season of Wild Life BigB’s was dying to his snail in Wild Life. Either his first death walking into BigbShell mere seconds after the Wild Card started in Session 3, or his final death where he walked into BigbShell whilst pondering the Trivia Bot’s question, eliminating him from the season out of nowhere in the Finale. IDK about Jimmy’s. The 3rd Life explosion was embarrassing, but I feel like the Double Life enderman, or the Limited Life Bread Bridge fall are about tied for being better than it. But also in Wild Life the circumstances around Jimmy being killed by Bloop the iron golem, were hysterically embarrassing. Gem getting shot by Scar was certainly embarrassing for her, but I personally feel like her Wild Life elimination was much much worse. All Wild Cards activated for exactly 2 minutes near the end of the finale. In that time Gem was attacked, and despite fending off the attackers, she was VERY QUICKLY overwhelmed by the Wild Cards. She was left in her base where Evokers spawned, leading to a Vex attack, as time was rapidly increasing speed, meaning that as she was attacked, she had no reaction time, and the cherry on top was that she was not able to run away from the Vexes because she got stuck due to sprinting and jumping causing her to grow in size, which also increased the size of her hit box, making it even easier for the Vexes to hit her. All of this occurred so fast and sudden that she had no reaction time. One moment she was standing in her base, the next, she was growing and running as time speed rapidly increased, and she was suddenly bombarded by Vexes. One, two, 9th Place. Considering just how much of a dominant force she was throughout the entire rest of the season, makes it even worse just how underwhelming her final death was.
I think Rens wasn't stupid so much as it was unfortunate. It would have been stupid if it was preventable, but there was no way he could have prevented that
I think anyone who played Dare to Flare or the Firing Squad game in 3L should have that on here (except Joel, because his house fire death is even worse) because that's basically dying because you chose to play a game and lost when you didn't have to play it

I think that there are three contenders for Pearl’s stupidest death, and all 3 come from Wild Life Her first death shrinking and falling off a ledge into a cave Her blowing herself up alongside Martyn with an end crystal Her tossing an ender pearl that got on bamboo to send her falling down to her near death right at Grian’s feet for him to finish her off and end her season That last one would be my choice
I don't think those are stupid. The first one was an unexpected side effect of the wildlife, they didn't initially realise that due to people shrinking when they crouch, when they shift to look over an edge (a very common thing to do), their hitbox will shrink and they will fall. Blowing herself up with an end crystal was an act of revenge. The ender pearl was getting stuck in a sticky situation. For her double life death, she deliberately messed with red names when they already had a reason for wanting her dead.

Imo, Etho most stupid death would be his final WL one with the windcharge. Scar's would be his first one in WL. And Tango's would be his final death in WL. Ren's final death in RL (if it counts).

I feel like any deaths due to soulmates dying feels a bit unfair / shouldn’t count, since ones like ethos death wasn’t his fault or anything he could stop
I would usually agree with you but Ethos agreed to it, and willingly let Joel get flung in the air by a fishing pole. Out of all of the soulmates deaths that was one were both players are to blame for the death. (Like with Cleo’s fall, I wouldn’t call that a stupid Cleo death because it was caused by Martin so the blame definitely is on him)
Ren dying from dripstone is not a stupid death though. It's one of the most epic kills in the life series. . And why is the Bad Boys falling off the ladded deaths not included here? Those were probably the stupidest deaths in the life series.
Etho, Ren and Skizz don't really have stupid deaths here. Soulmate died, unknown trap kill and half a heart skele aren't that stupid. Also WL Scar first death is far stupidier than TL Yellow Scar death. Other than that, yeah the deaths are quite stupid
