@@JOHNH-hc3dc I never said that don't read into something that's not there I still go out now when I can went to xoyo just before lockdown and saw Derrick May and Dusty play live fkin awesome night but you can't brimg back the 90s and yes it was an amazing era
An old school piano rave tune from back in 1992 from Suburban base records, Who produced many a decent hard-core drum and bass/rave track in the late 80s early 90s
still I wonder if you actually went raving much before 94 ? usually I find people haven't a clue, I think you will find with this particular track it wasn't chatted over too much which tbh is a totally different subject to is the vocal on this a good one, which it is in my view, you can't just have all tracks the same in a set and its nice to throw in a uplifting tune then get back to some bad boy business, what really ruined the rave scene was the emergence of shit drugs in the scene e.g smack etc and also criminal justice bill changed things drastic as before you could hold the massive outdoor raves which I was lucky enough to go to quite a few of them, to then the landowner being able to be fined massively once the law came into force and other smaller gatherings too where cracked down on, alot of the scene then had to go mainstream to survive.
you are obviously 16 and don't know anything about the rave scene. it was full of people "talking black" and "talking gay" and "singing like women". It was NEVER an authenticity contest, or a tough guy contest, and there was no "legit" or "fake". It was all for fun, and vocals like this were huge favorites. There was no one scene and there was no arbiter of what was rave or not rave, etc.

The vocal spoils it. Is there a dub version?
+coolbreez773 The vocals are great, wonder if you actually went raving back in the day, this tune was all about the vocal.
DJ Oldskool
Way too cheesy and totally unnecessary, it was too much cheese and MC's talking black which ruined the rave scene.
