Love this folded tree. Thanks so much. I also would like to know more about how you cut the circle. You mentioned an "old" method, but I couldn't understand the term you used. Could you, or someone, tell me more? I don't want to invest in a die cutting machine, but want to be able to cut circles. And what is the stylus, or pen you used as the cutting tool? This is all new to me so thanks in advance for your help.
I know this is old but in my opinion timeless. But who cares what I say. Anyway. You are a great tutor. I will try to make this as it's a great card that's rather quick to put together.
But the history of the word “Xmas” is actually more respectable - and fascinating - than you might suspect. First of all, the abbreviation predates by centuries its use in gaudy advertisements. It was first used in the mid 1500s. X is the Greek letter “chi,” the initial letter in the word Χριστός. And here’s the kicker: Χριστός means “Christ.” X has been an acceptable representation of the word “Christ” for hundreds of years. This device is known as a Christogram. The mas in Xmas is the Old English word for “mass.” (The thought-provoking etymology of “mass” can be found here.) In the same vein, the dignified terms Xpian and Xtian have been used in place of the word “Christian.
It appears to me that your circle is 8 inches in diameter, and not 7. Once you cut it in half and are finding the center, it actually looks to be a little more than 8". Just want people to be aware so they get the same result.
This seems a petty comment...and I do not mean it that way....but each time I go to watch one of your sessions I am totally distracted by you messy board. I can be totally messy....so I am not wanting to be nasty. It may not annoy anyone else.....after all I am the silly person who keeps a small bottle of Eucalyptus oil on my table to clean things that get marked.....but despite sounding like a negative Nellie...I am enjoying you work
OH my Heavens, you made it look so easy, and then I tried it and it was just that easy ... You are a Rock Star ... Thank Ypu ..
The Tree is so CUTE.....love it!
Love this, but I always trim the bottom of the tree to balance it up.

Totally awesome card!
Très bonne idée merci pour le partage ☺
Very nice! What's the name of the circle template?
Was it a trick of video that the circle cut so easily?
Use a circle cutter. There are different ones by different companies.
I like this very much, and by the way, X comes from the word Christ, so it is entirely correct to use Xmas
"Xtians" is a derogatory term used to describe Christians. I don't believe "Xmas" is respectful of Christ.

notice; DIGNIFIED terms, not derogatory as you suggest

Cute!!
Christ-mas.
Your card is beautiful. However, when you use the X you are crossing out Jesus.
