I give you all the credit in the world , for doing what you're doing . You are very brave and courageous. Keep on trying and never give up. I'm 60 years old and I'm a severe stutterer. I still haven't mastered to control it , but I'm still trying. The word I would describe for a person who stutters is frustration. When you know what to say and have good thoughts and ideas to express and you can't communicate those thoughts. I know I'm old , but I'm still trying to master that control of speaking fluently .

I hope your positive attitude and optimism never changes, it's what will help you throughout your life whether you continue to stutter or not.
A positive aspect of stuttering is that it exposes people's personalities and it can help you determine if you want to be around a person or not, especially after you inform of certain things pertaining to your stutter. Keep smiling.

I am very glad that you posted this video. Many stutters leave a positive review after a week course of treatment and disappear, because of this, everyone thinks that stuttering is easily treated. Why am I happy with this video? Because the authors of stuttering treatment methods should be aware of their responsibility and should begin to take a different approach to the issue of stuttering treatment. When we know for sure that a stutter will cope with a 100% problem, it will be a victory.

As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I have worked with PWS. I think if you can get to the cause of your stutter, you can get to the cure. I have found the cause of 100% of my clients. Stuttering is caused by a traumatic event between the ages of 2-7. Any thing from a dog barking in a child's face, to a child seeing someone get shot! This is the spectrum that I have worked with. A lot of people can't remember what caused their stutter. But the subconcious remembers everything. So with Hypnotherapy it is easy to get to the traumatic event. Now that you understand what caused the stutter, now you can let it go from your mind and body. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your time.

To everyone on here who’s trying to be a “speech therapist” to her please stop 🛑 it’s unnecessary. Just let her talk and let her say what she wants/needs to say. Just let her speak freely without feeling like she “needs help.”

Your speech has definitely improved. I'm so happy for you; you also seem happier. I've just been inspired by a video tribute to the late Annie Glenn, who mostly overcame her severe stutter with the help of a visionary speech center. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Please take care and stay safe.

Hey Paige , your hair looks great ! Listen folks , we all have things about ourselves that aren’t perfect or the way we want them to be , so what . I was always small when younger and younger than most of my counterparts so I was the target 🎯 . Easy prey so to speak . Until people tried me , I have a song that sums up my attitude , which covers a lot of ground . Bruce Springsteen - No Surrender . The main message is no retreat , no surrender ! And I really like that approach to my life . Don’t misunderstand , I’m not aggressive , but I will stand up for what is right every time ! Take care all and may God bless each and every one of you ! Peace ☮️ !

Seeing your video made my day a bit better honestly. I want to ask you how you get the courage to post videos and that as I'm currently in a very bad stage of life because of my stammer and I'm not seeing a way out.... im sorry for the long paragraph but when u struggle to talk all you want is for someone to hear and understand you ❤❤

That sucks, hope everything works out. Don't forget that a person's lack of empathy and/or willingness to shame you for something as innocuous as a stammer is their problem, not yours. And no amount of unhappiness you feel will be enough to fix *someone else's* problem.

Wow. Diggin the make over. You look well and that's always great! However, I would like to say deep breath, and exhale slowly while at the same time saying what you want to say with an exhaling breath, so that way your speech transitions into words smoothly with the exhaling breath as one. I think it's called easy onset? Totally bombed the technique name, but I'm sure we stutterers know what I'm referring to! Though of course techniques works differently for everyone. My stuttering has been pretty bad for two years now, and I happen to be more fluent whenever I use the technique I misspelled and mentioned. My years of being fluent were over, and so I've been using techniques again for the past two years. Lastly, take it easy and be well everyone.

Noticing a slight difference to your stutter on this video, less repeating of sounds and more jurks of your body instead. Is this because your speech programme has encouraged a new technique? X

Paige! Your should major in Linguistics! You obviously noticed this, as you live with it every day, but you seem to get tripped up on voiced consonants (as well as vowels). Linguistics could potentially teach you incredible ways to cheat out that stutter! You can't always listen to those speech therapists, because every stutterer's mind works differently. Thus, you may have some unique way that you can get around the stutter, and the best way I think you can avoid that is to become a linguist yourself (you'd essentially become the speech pathologist/therapist)

I know that I have some difficulties with some certain words so I'll more aware with those words. But if you're talking about a sixth sense, I would say no. I know when I'm about to stutterer when the blocks comes. What I can do is try to remake the sentence or use other techniques, and if I do right the person who I'm talking to won't notice.

@@niponbasumatary6713 I know, but speaking as a stutterer myself “trying to give advice and/or tips” to help isn’t helping. It’s just like the most common mistake people make with stutterers which is “helping them finish their sentences by trying to guess what they’re trying to say.” That is a huge “NO NO” when talking to a stutterer. For once I wish people would treat us normally instead of making us feel like we’re different 🙄
Now I don’t know if Paige actually does want you to help her, maybe she does. All I know is that when non stutterers try to help those who do stutter, it’s not helpful. It’s best just to let them talk without making them feel like they’re “different.” It’s like it takes your attention away from the point they’re trying to make. Hope that makes sense 🙂
