Trans-X is a Canadian 1980s synth band formed in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They are known for their hit song "Living on Video" which charted worldwide.
My brother is the reason why I still listen to this song.

All of a sudden it's 1985 and I'm at a back yard party in Nowalk California... disco bunnies everywhere, lowered trucks out front, 2 kegs in back, and me and Joe B. And TC walking through the clove cigarette haze. And just when it's on, the ghetto bird breaks it up. So long TC... we still roll together in my memory.

I first heard this during the loading screen in Commando on the C64 lol. We absolutely loved it and loaded the game up just to hear the song. Had no idea it was a real song until about 2 decades later lol
Back in the early 80's the disco's we would go to in Hollywood would save this song for the end of the night..and then the adrenalin kick in again. Those were some "Kick Ass" times! Still get the vibe at 70!!!

I have no clue how i even found this song. .. heck i am 30 when i was a kid everyone was getting CD. I had hand me down tapes . (Well. I still do). And i kept buying tapes (like. New ones). Until they stopped making them. .. i have this tape somewhere. I guess ive heard too much mainstream music. I try branching out.
Somehow that ended up being 80s music like this . And Euro-Disco. Synthpop and whatever. Some off the wall stuff most people dont even know.. my one buddy likes when i slap a tape in to listen to in the vehicle .. i guess he like similar music. And he never know what to expect. Haha
The first time I heard this song was whilst watching my brother play Zombies in Spaceland. Years later, he was playing it in the kitchen at work and I had to ask what it was called and now I've been listening to it for hours!

Blasting at every family party when I was a kid in the 90s till now....this music will never die
This is one of the songs I use to test headphones. The layering is intense and will wash out a shitty pair of headphones or ear buds. I remember testing a "high end" brand of head phones and you couldn't even hear the vocals. It sounded like someone was singing from the end of a 100ft hallway.
The highs are crisp and the medium and low frequencies fill out those bandldwidths quite well.
My £30-40 Sony headphones do a fair job with this. I don't use any other brand.
