It’s crazy to think this was 15 years ago and I still think about this video at 25 when I was probably only 12 when I first saw it. It’s a reminder of how great the world can be with a simple passion to express emotion and thoughts in creative ways to touch others. I will forever remember this!

Quite apart from this lady's extraordinary talent, which is self-evident, she must be SUPREMELY self-confident. To work at that speed, and with those smooth, gracefully elegant gestures, she must have the essence of this remarkable craft imprinted on her mind and soul. This is DELIGHTFUL to watch.

I can still remember the first time I saw this video. My math teacher in HS decided to end lass a bit early and showed this to us. The entire class, normally loud and talking when no working on classwork, went silent and seemed in awe...we even stayed a few seonds after the bell to make sure we ddnt miss a thing, and I've come back to this video many many times, even showed my parents. You surely have a unique and wonderful talent, and I'm going to check out your other videos soon :D

IN PRAISE OF THE ARTIST AND THE ART
The image appears at a flick of the fingers, then dissolves with a wipe of the hands. Pictures emerge like magic to arrest emotions, as elusive and intimate as a daydream.
The result is soul-stirring-the rational mind melts away to merge into the free-flowing emotive nuance.
Few arts can visually capture the intrinsic spontaneity and transiency that bespeak of the nature of life’s experience.
Like a mesmerizing mantra-the sound is transient but the invocation reverberates.

A big big huge from me.

      @@sandfantasy2008
      Dear IIana:
I am glad that my comment strikes a chord in your heart. Being a visual artist, I am especially interested in others’ talent in telling the essence of life.
I first chanced upon this video a few years back, and it left a strong impression on me. The skilful execution of your performance and the emotive imageries prompt me to write something to show appreciation, and in the wish to introduce more values to this rare art.
Indeed, the fluid screenplay and story-telling capacity of sand art are full of metaphorical imageries aptly echoing the dramatic elements in life.
I wish you continual fulfilment in your passion for this art.

I've been watching this video all along the summer of 2010, after I finished school. I thought I was all alone, because I had absolutely no friends, and this still gave me hope. The September that came, my life changed in university and I got new, real friends. My life became better. Today I randomly remembered this video and came back to relive the emotion of the day. Thank you for this beautiful video.

True friends are few and far between. They exist,I know, but there not enough... true people are fading from the world. I hope to desire to care to have a friend someday... as for now I'll be what I am ....a solitary man. It hurts... but I am blessed in the end. This music, right in these moments where I listen to it... I close my eyes and I can feel bliss in all its glory and purity. Ahhh to hear sweet serenity unhindered by others troubles... let them be thier own and leave me listen in peace!
