    Bravo !

    On this lute there are 8 courses (7 double and the top is single) but it is different on some lutes, from 6 courses to 13 courses (14 on some archlutes...)

    D.Josquin Desprez: born in Ducado de Borgoña (Flandes, not France, he was a "flamenco"). D.Luys de Narvaez: Reino de Granada (Spain) SAME FLAG...you don't like flamenco dear Ferdinand81?

  • @TheFerdinand81
    @TheFerdinand81 9 років тому +1

    This music has nothing to do with Spain, my dear Samuel Gonzales, this is strait out of the early Renaissance Franco-Flemish vocal music, closer to the High Middle Age
    Josquin des Prez: Mille Regretz

      Mille regretz de Des Pres is nothing like Narvaez's transcription, almost recomposes it and is the one that becomes known, both are from the Middle Ages.

    I've listened to this piece played on different instruments. My conclusion regarding the sound is: It sounds best on European lute, second on vihuela or baroque guitar and worst on modern classical guitar. The lute has the sweatest sound, the classical guitar has the harshest sound.
