What a match! I think the maps size influenced a lot of the decisions. The placement of labs, ways to expand, units to use, timing of attacks, being more passive and economy focused. Raghna has so many ideas... like going back to where he knew was already scouted, than doubling back again once that got scouted and moving his lab for the 2rd time. He also microed his units so much more. He has just so much knowledge of units and the APM to use it.
28:30 I think this is a friendly fun game. Not a serious match. Raghna had Bloodir basically in checkmate twice by then. Only the killing blow was needed but he chose not to do it.
Rag must have been doing some sort of personal challenge not to use anything from the bot tech (pawns being accessible through vehicle tech with combat engineer) because the lack of rezbots was odd.
like watching an mma fight where both guys come out roundhouse-ing for the head....and one guy goes, ok, imma change things up. and lays down. rofl, loved the mines raghna used, felt bad the third time the energy went down but thats a little too much and they probably both knew at that point anyway. get in a guys head and you can direct the whole fight. i still cant get over the micro management and driving of units these pros do, insane skills on both sides. awesome fight!

I know Blodir from FAF, and he is very good there. Not surprised to see the same here.
Thank you for the vid! Great play by Raghna, so fun to watch

Seeing Blodir here is like seeing a guy from your highschool football team showing up in a game of high stakes pickleball 20 years later

Puzzling play by raghna - why not push advantage when Blodir was almost down? I wonder if he queued it before he actually destroyed the base.
My guess is he was testing a porc approach. To try new ways of play. That was a lot of turrets and mines.
