My favorite part of this series was getting to meet you guys in person and riding with you guys in Tennessee, something I will never forget. On day 2 when Anthony's krx lost steering and we had a few hours of down time,a few of us were sitting in a circle with you guys and Ryan Winchester just telling stories, that was an absolutely great time for me. You guys are awesome, keep doing what you do and hopefully we can ride together again one day.

We’ve been traveling with our sxs for 18 months. We spent a little under 3 months in the Black Hills between 2 visits. It takes some exploring to find the best stuff.
Sand Hollow has been my favorite, with Moab being a close second. The way the trails are spread out, along with the city of Moab being tired of side by sides hurts the experience. That said, I’ll spend another month this year in Moab before heading to Sand Hollow for the winter.
A few places you missed that we’ve really liked riding are all of Montana, all of Idaho, and Tahoe National Forest.
My least favorite places to ride have been Oregon, and Florida. We haven’t done Missouri, Colorado, or New Mexico yet.
We have my wife, our teenage son, 2 dogs, a cat, and myself in a 46 foot toy hauler. Not including the $250,000ish in equipment for the trip, I’d say we’ve spent a little over $200,000. The most we paid for diesel was in Washington in early summer 2022. $6.79/gallon. The least was Texas, this spring. $2.85/gallon.
We plan to head up to Alaska next spring, and then work our way back home to Florida by winter 2024. I’m hoping to hit Hatfield and McCoy and a few other spots we haven’t tried along the way.

No reduction or clutching in any of ours. The can ams have great gearing from the factory. We use low on most short climbs and rock crawls. You can comfortable ride at 10mph in low. Over that you start climbing pretty good in rpm’s. You can hit 25-30 in low but a really short burst of it is best since you’d be around 7-8000rpms haha.

Enjoyed watching your journey across the country riding the different terrain & trails!
I think you missed a lot of great extreme trails in Colorado!
You just did easy trails in the Alpine loop area.
If you would have come more into the heart of the Rocky Mountains, there are trails that are super scenic, with extremely challenging trails that I believe would have possibly been top of your list.
Plus cost to ride all the trails in Colorado is only $25 for the year!

Ya, we wanted a more scenic ride there plus most of the hard trails were still closed due to snow.

What I meant is, that if you would have come more east on like I-70 & tried more extreme rock crawling trails further in Colorado.
That are more to your style of riding, I believe it would rival anything you did on the journey.
The area you did in the Alpine loop are easy trails & not very challenging.
There are many trails that are close to that beautiful scenery, but with challenging difficult trails.

Are there any places on the east coast that you would recommend for higher paced trail riding not rock crawling?

Durhamtown in Georgia would be perfect for fast pace riding. Their trails are one way. Most of Michigan would also be what your after.

      @TheCanAmCrew  4 місяці тому

@@c3crew it will be similar to last year, leaving Tennessee and heading toward arkansas then working out way over to utah and back up into Colorado then back across hitting a few places along the way but this time we will spend more time at each place we go, hitting a few less places than we did last year.
