Chipout or “blowout” 😂 will almost always happen with using a saw. Solutions that will help:
1-Get a new blade meant for cutting plywood.
2-Lay a sacrificial board on top on the cut.
3-Cover the cut line with painters tape.

Tape over the cut line or deeply score the cut line with a utility blade.

I'll come back and finish, but before I go. Something is out of balance on your bandsaw. Check the tires to see if they are cracked or worn. Next you may be missing a tooth or more on the blade. Hope it is an easy fix for you.
