The graphic used for oil exploration is actually a pumpjack. Which is used to pump fluids out of an already drilled hole. Actually drilling the hole requires a drilling rig which has a tall derrick.

Its now 2021 and its still on fire but ppl say it gonna end it two years
putting out the crater fire is easy: Fill it half way with dirt from the surrounding area. Pour water to the remaining top half. If the dirt weight collapse it further, pour more dirt and repeat. Burning a ring of fire with gas for decades is an absolutely waste of natural gas, not to mention the air pollution.

I heard of this hellish site before, it's always good to learn more about it like how spiders are attracted to the light and energy of the fire before they throw themselves into it lol funny stuff.

As for the spiders...it is much more likely that the spiders are drawn to the rising hot air which they use to "balloonette" off the edge, using a long strand of silk to catch and ride the rising thermals. It is unlikely and highly unusual for any animal, or spider to willfully die without a reason. Ballonetting is very common amongst many diverse spider breeds.

I just read this book, it's awesome but you should make it by CATEGORY instead of Country.... is easier to read for people with specific interests: mechanical, geographical, medical curiosities, occult, etc.
I'm surprised you didn't talk about the "recordings" someone captured from this hole that allegedly has the recordings of thousands of voices screaming. Believed to be the groans of the souls trapped in hell.

why don't they take use of this eternal energy source? Put a boiler on top, make steam and connect it to a steam generator that produce electricity.
