Marvel's Avengers is an upcoming action-adventure video game based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, the game is inspired by the long-running comic book mythology and adaptations in other media. The game's main storyline takes place five years after A-Day, a celebratory day for the Avengers wherein a tragedy resulted in death and destruction, and the Avengers were blamed. The team is forced to reassemble to save the world from peril in the form of A.I.M. led by MODOK which threatens ending the world from superpowers. The game features an online co-op mode, allowing players to assemble a team of heroes of their own. The initial playable characters include Steve Rogers / Captain America, Tony Stark / Iron Man, Bruce Banner / Hulk, Thor, Natasha Romanova / Black Widow, and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, with more becoming available to players post-launch.

Thor has the most consistent voice actor and I love it. Like I've barely seen any shows or games that don't use this voice for him.

Actually, he never left. After Cap's death, he went off to try and deal with his grief and found the best way to deal with it was by helping people without using his powers. So yeah Thor literally puts down his hammer to go work in a soup kitchen.

@Austin Rooks Well she might improve technique, not damage. Her powers can't increase too much in power. If she increases the size of her hands even more, she loses balance and mobility. Thor is simply a god, above even the other Avengers, he's their heavy hitter.
Why? Thor is obviously miles superior in every aspect.
I mean, Thor gets into space without any help and pushes an escape pod with a single hand back to Earth, none of the other Avengers can do that

I LOVE THE MUSIC DURING THIS FIGHT.
I just started playing this game within a week and (before I realized it) bought one of Thor’s legendary skins. When I got to this scene, I switched to that skin after he took off for the helicarrier and played out the rest of the level with it on. It was awesome!
Tony: "I have a metal suit that shoots stuff and lets me fly around."
Thor: "I am Thor, God of Thunder, and wield Mjolnir in battle."
Dr. Banner: "I turn into a big green rage monster and smash things."

The feel of using Mjolnir is so off. It feels like you're hitting enemies with a stick rather than one of the mightiest weapons in the universe. Compared to Kratos's axe in God of War it feels so weak.
Really, I played as Thor and I thought mjolnir felt awesome.
Yea that "thunk" sound effect and the limited reaction from enemies makes it feel like it's an Oblivion weapon.

Something similar happened to me when I played it. In the cutscene when the full video is played, there was no sound what'soever in the first half. Had to look it up so I can hear them talk.

I’m sorry but the combat is not nearly as fluent as Spiderman, the characters are under developed, movement is jaggy, The character design reminds me more of GTA for every time I see a clip

the reason why the combat is not as fluent as spider-man could be because they made multiple characters and that could be counter productive as you don't have the luxury of focusing in one single character's movements, animations or gadgets, not really defending this but it's a common problem on these type of games,

Not at all, the amount of options and skill tree choices r rlly good, compared to most games with skill trees like borderlands or destiny, etc. the choices are like 7x higher

As it’s a reference to the original comic origins of Thor, it makes perfect sense
If i can simplify the avengers game in one word, it's "unfinished" (it felt like it). The story's great, but it felt like if given a little bit of more time, the world building, the combat system, or even the game mechanics itself could be improved. The game felt a little bit rough, it's like it's doesn't have time for the finishing touch.
