Dan I want to thank you soooo much for pointing out the weed and grass killer . I purchased a ready to use , spray jug on Saturday. I used it yesterday afternoon and evening and the grass and weeds are looking like they are dying in less than 24 hours . The temperature was above 60 but not in high 80s or even in full sun . I also used at cemetery. The weeds and grass at 5 plots were a total mess ! ! So keep teaching , explaining , demonstrating all the products you use and how to do edging with a weed whacker! You really are the man ! !
I went out Saturday morning putting my business cards on people's doors and within 3 hours had a call for a $75 house wash that took slightly over an hour and took about $6 worth of pool bleach. It turned out great and she wants me to come do it again next year. While doing the job 2 neighbors indicated they'd probably be giving me a call soon. This was my first house wash side hustle job and the first weekend I actively went looking for business. My 2.3 gpm DuroMax XP2700 did a great job reaching a high peak on the downhill side of the house (2nd story over a brick garage). It came in last Wednesday and I couldn't wait to go out trying to get my new business started. I've got some promising things lined up, even got a $20 mowing job with a guy 1 street over, using his gas and mower for a small 30 minute yard, no weed eating. I haven't even finished passing cards out in my neighborhood yet and there are several I know will be better than my neighborhood as far as disposable income goes. Thanks for all the knowledge I needed to get started in the business. Thanks to your vids I had no fear getting this going. I have a big desire to turn it into my career and grow it into a father-son business so I'll be hustling my ass off to get it rolling. I've been 13 years at a desk in front of a computer and I'm sick of it. I actually had a great time while washing her house. Keep the vlogs coming and thanks again for the inspiration. You are a life changer, in case you didn't know it.
I love that hedge trimmer...sounds and cuts like a beast...I was going to ask what the brand was and then went to a previous video of yours and got an education....thanks for always providing sound advice on equipment and technique...once again....rock star.
Thanks for the video as always my man. Do you ever plan on getting back into lawn care full time, and at your peak in 2016 how many accounts did you maintain?
I started off with a basic craftsman push mower and free riding mower I got working bought a good Stihl weed eater and a Poulan blower... now I’ve a few good commercial toro push mowers from cl real cheap that weren’t used commercially a used stihl br600 blower and a new riding mower can’t afford a nice zero turn yet
Elton Spend a few hundred on some pressure washer gear to wash houses while there's no grass growing. I'd bet a decent number of your lawn customers could use a wash and would be happy to have you do it.
I did get a little motion sick, but nice to see you son wanting to help you!! Great job and I love how you trim thous drum shaped bushes, they look so pretty xx
I did. I have the video uploaded on my channel Titled "Blades of Grass String Trimmer / Edging Challenge" LMAO FYI, it isn't a competition tho. It is a challenge to us to participate, not to see who is best!
Excellent video as always Dan and love the newly formed hedge. As an observation on all of your side hustle gardens I've noticed there are hardly any bedding plants, perennials or hanging baskets is that a common theme in Georgia as here in the UK the garden centres and residential gardens are full of them
Thank you. This is a hard environment for flowering bed plants. It gets soooo hot here and then we get ice and freezing temps. A lot of people give up trying to maintain their flowers.
You and the lawn care nut are the best! Working men’s mowers. 👍🏽
Thank you Kevin
I really like this style video. A little of everything. Good work!
Thank you
your boy did a good job, at least he wanted to do it. that's better then most kids.

Thank you ❤️
Speaking of hedge trimmers....do you sharpen the hedge trimmer blades yourself? How often should this be done?
Thanks for the video as always my man. Do you ever plan on getting back into lawn care full time, and at your peak in 2016 how many accounts did you maintain?
I enjoy my health benefits and 401k too much right now to leave my job. I did 100 lawns in 2016
Great Video Dan and awesome helper on the Video looks great
Thank you Jorma

Thank you Peter
Amazing work love ur videos
Thank you
Dan, you should do some more cooking with Dan videos. Love the video.
Loving those weed whacking skills at the end of the video. It was good meeting you at the Dunkin’ Donuts next to Zaxby’s on hwy 17 a few weeks back!
100% enjoyed!
Hey Dan do you use a universal height setting for your mower or do you lower it sometimes for customer preferance???
Customer is always right so if my 2 3/4 inch cut is not perfect for them, then I do whatever they ask.
Yea I get those customers to even if its so low its burning the grass
Great Video's Dan!!!!
How often do you get poison Ivy??
I seem to get it often. Lifting the mower in and out of the truck doesn't help
Thank you and never

Don't Don't just love how people park like right on the grass or grass line "silver implala"
I know. Drives me nuts when I have to fix the edges
Great vid bro! Hey, you might of mentioned it in a previous video, but why did you pick the Honda over the Toro Recycler? Was it the engine size?
Engine size had a lot to do with it, but also the vers-a-mow selection from mulch to bag and anything in between. Also warranty, price and reviews
You can clean those screens by cooking them with a sweating torch.
Dan, trying to figure where you live. It looks like the Midwest. Maybe Michigan?
SE Georgia
I did get a little motion sick, but nice to see you son wanting to help you!! Great job and I love how you trim thous drum shaped bushes, they look so pretty xx
Thank you, I almost got sick having to keep watching it for edits lol
What kind of weed eater line do you like ( I couldn’t find video)
I link to it in my video descriptions
Hey Dan, blades of grass has an edging with a string trimmer challenge going on. Why don't you enter and win that thing man?!!
I did. I have the video uploaded on my channel Titled "Blades of Grass String Trimmer / Edging Challenge" LMAO FYI, it isn't a competition tho. It is a challenge to us to participate, not to see who is best!
Dan's Vlog when u see that, I see challenge to me!! Go show em then serious spinning skills man!! In betting on you!! ❤️😂😂🇯🇲
cleaning a spark arrestor very easy . just hold with plyers and burn with a torch to burn off the carbon. then reinstall .
Customer could’ve moved the vehicles to the middle of the driveway. The world would be a better place if more people had common courtesy
I could of knocked on the door and asked them to do that... but I didn't cause it isn't a big deal... for most of us, anyways
Dan's Vlog 👍🏽keep up the good work Dan
Pacman impala
Can you take out that screen with a Echo stick edger?
I bet there is some way to do it for most if not all machines
Adjust the valves on ur 4 mix machines to. I got more power out of mine after I did it.
I did that with my FS 100 RX and it did help. I had the shop do it
Dan's Vlog it’s super easy to do it ur self. U just need the Stihl value adjustment kit which is cheap. My dealer gave me mine for free.
Christmas lights in July lol
LOLOL RIGHT!!!???
Use a torch to burn the carbon off. Works every time.
True!

I thought that the heat would be the reason but had no idea it got cold there like it does here in the UK
HA HA Check out my playlist titled Fun Vids I make, You will see me literally Mowing Snow from this past winter.
👍
Thank you
That donk in the first yard tho
??
Dan's Vlog a donk is a style of car with big chrome wheels and lifted up I just thought it was funny
Why do customers leave their cars parked in the driveway when they have their lawns mowed?????
Daniel Sears I don’t know anyone including myself that moves cars out of the driveway. We are pro’s, we can work around them
Dan's Vlog 😎 You’re awesome
Dan's Vlog I was open venting more less.
That Sthil sounds like it got beat up and the engine
It’s purring like a kitten and sounds like money in my pocket
First!
Woo-Hoo!!!!
