How to customize your Google Classroom banner

This step-by-step tutorial show you how to create a unique custom banner for Google Classroom. Use the banner to create a Google Classroom Theme. We use Google Slides to quickly create the banner without any image editing skills needed.

How do you remove the dark shadow from the bottom of the banner.

I followed all of your very clear steps but when I click upload, Google classroom says "There was an upload error. Make sure to upload a JPEG, GIF or PNG file and try again." This has been happening to me for years. I assumed it was the dimensions being wrong, but it's even still happening - please advise if you can help! :)

I was able to create 3 banners for my classes following your instructions and they look great! In creating my 4th banner I ran into some problems. When I selected an image from my google search it only covered about 1/4th of my banner and there was only about 1/4th of the image. I have redone this several times with the same result. What am I doing wrong?

I was able to create three banners for my classes, but when I attempted a fourth and fifth class, GC did not accept the jpeg. I kept getting the following error message: "There was an upload error. Make sure to upload a JPG, GIF or PNG file and try again."
Any advice?
