Can the camera live feed to a cellphone WITHOUT a home wifi or a internet service provider?
You don't point the antennae at the router. Keep the antenna's SIDE pointing to the router... keep it vertical.

hi, i have a problem. i'd like to know if the camera is charging cause when i charge it and the camera is turn off no happen anything but if i charge it when it turns on just see 2 colors, blue and red but i do know what does it mean :(

hi this is usaid here kindly let me know how can I fix the camera ribbon I have the same wifi model that you showed in this video but my camera ribbon was broken from the joint not the camera side but the other side which is connected to the module.

yes, as long as your camera is connected to a wifi network, but you must configure the camera.to connect to your home wifi internet.
there is two ways of connecting the camera, u can connect the phone to camera wifi, or you can connect camera to home wifi, and configure the camera to phone too, like this you will be able to connect even from another country.

If the person has the app, and knows the password, can he/she watch the live video?
Also, does the button camera hidden on my clothes, has to be connected to my smartphone, used as a router?

+D. Segura If the person has the app, and has the device id and password what you can change if you think someone does, then yes they can watch the video. And yes you can connect the camera to your phones wifi to use it as a button camera.

after dumping of settings of the camera, phone sees the camera in network, but cannot continuously be connected there is a connection and time out, and so around comes to an end. it is impossible to be connected.

Anybody help. After i push the icon with online camera, the windows with “loading live video...” appears, with a cycle going roynd and round, and nothing happens, the video does not appear. Whats wrong? And it is the same on android and iphone.

Actually, I found this video quite useful.... I want to find something like this to add to our church system, so that the services can be viewed on a monitor downstairs. A camera like this can be added and not stand out like a sore thumb in the sanctuary. A constant power supply would be very beneficial as well. THERE ARE LEGITIMATE USES that are non invasive, but I understand why you are concerned about the other uses.

I downloaded the disc to my PC and when I try to open the icon up it asks for a user name and password. I put in what's on the app on my phone and it says either the user ID or password is wrong. What am I missing?

How it's works in distance
Thanks for your effort, but i would expect a recorded video (from SD oder wlan) at the end of the video. All i can see is a blury smartphone display showing the camera ouput.

I m from Turkey , cant speak English well, BUT I have a Question ,, assume that if I put this camera outside to someone house for spy, do we need a Wifi connection of that house ?? or I simply connect to my Wifi house connection sitting in my house........ hope you understand my question,, waiting for your reply
You just need to connect the camera to your house wifi, and then you will be able to watch the camera from anywhere in the world as long as you have wifi also. Thanks for watching!

I have researched a lot to connect this product to my phone. It wouldn't connect to so many apps I have downloaded. I want the customers to know that we have to use QR CODE READER app to first read the exact app mentioned in the manual which we have to use. Then download that app and for sure it will show your device online in that app. For my purchase I had to download WIFIDVR app. And i was lucky there. The whole procedure works once you are connected to your product with wifi.

The quality is amazing. Would you recommend it or A6500. I guess it's the 4k that makes it so good?
I would recommend the A6300 but if you want to have in built body stabilization and a touch screen go for the A6500. And yea the 4k looks amazing on both of these cameras because it uses a 6k sensor.

No, it absolutely needs a wifi connection if you want to see the video over the internet.

@@__WJK__ you can use your phone internet, but based on the data usage you would run out of data on your tether plan after a while, it uses around ~20MB per minute and it would disconnect when you moved your phone away, ran out of battery or data on your plan. Also every time you called or received a call the internet would disconnect.
@Michael Castro - Interesting, so it's confirmed... these types of mini wifi cams cannot be set up (ad-hoc) to operate like independent baby monitors or vehicle backup cameras...without a 3rd party internet/data connection(?) That's too bad, as one would think sales would've been more robust had the designers included a (ad-hoc) baby monitor or vehicle back-up feature that provided a live feed to one's phone (over a few yards) without requiring a 3rd party internet/data connection...like the "live feed" feature seen in cheap rc kids drones today.
