Great job mate! I'm Australian too, and it is good to see such a great representation of an Aussie Comic Book Character on the big screen, and such an awesome dude doing justice to Aussie characters.

A cool way of weathering shoes is if you have a grinding stone (a big stone that rotates to sharpen blades) and you spin it and hit it hard with the boots (in your hands not on your foot) in case you feel like sanding the shoes will make them look.. made rough..
you could add some velcro to the side of the boots..
For coats, jackets and stuff like that I suggest you look into Matchless' collection... It produces leather clothes and other cool stuff taken directly from big franchise movies (such as star wars, MCU e DC)! It is a bit expensive though
