that fuel setup is nfg. incredibly convoluted AND routed in the car. wish I knew about this 2650 blower (in cathedral) before I sunk the money/time into my current one. oh well. nice car.
Wow absolutely amazing set up! I have an ls2 in my 06 CTS-V.. Just a cam, headers and intake for now and a Gforce 9" rear end! I can now handle power like this... I am ready!! Can you help me build a kit for my v please??
This is the second car I've seen with the Harrop 2650. I think ppl have got tired on waiting for Magnuson to release theirs. Sweet set up, but how long will the pistons last?
Bengi Forte pistons are fine. It's running e85, so there's not much concern about the pistons at this level. Jorge has another shortblock to swap in soon, so he can turn the boost up and go for 1000whp.
I imported one of these over a year ago and am a dealer for them. So far I've done a GTO, 5th Gen Zl1, and supplied the unit for the first ever 2650 CTSV. They are not expensive to setup and are quality units.
What modifications were done to the stock fuel tank to feed the twin pumps? About to go forced induction myself and really impressed with the packaging of this setup.
The only changes to the factory tank was welding steel AN bungs for the lines to the surge tank. The factory pump is in the tank but the power wire is clipped and used to trigger the new relays that power the twin DW350il pumps. If you need any of these parts, I’m a dealer for Deatschwerks, Fore Innovations, and Harrop for the blowers.
@@thegarageguy8712 Perfect, appreciate the quick reply. I'll be sure to inquire if I do go with this fuel setup. Where on the tank did you weld in the bungs? Cut up the plastic cover at all?
@@thegarage3723 Mate that thing is a beast, its a shame they are so hard to find in australia, we have already did the supercharger thing, but again due to the deck height you have cut a hole in the bonnet, but other than that maybe you should try the new magnuson 2650, that way it will fit under the bonnet and people will not know what you have, where as as soon as they see that supercharger, they know its fast, maybe also consider the interchiller for it as well, depending on where you live, if its hot most days of the year then its worth it, extra 50 to 60 HP at the rear wheels, not including what it makes with the supercharger kit. :) Maybe worthwhile talking to magnuson, i know Harrop in australia very good company been around since the early 1960's and 1970's Ron Harrop bassically did work for a lot of the V8 Ford and holden Bathurst race cars back in the day and i also used to sell them aerospace alloys as well. :)
Gtols2 447rwhp let me know. We have the special idler to let this work on a stock GTO belt drive. It needs LS3 heads or adapter plates, but I would do this right with a cam and stock LS3 heads. Low boost it will generate 700whp easily, and the blower supports north of 1000 when you need to get serious.
Gus V it made 727whp on 10-11psi. It has stock LS3 heads and a 231/239 Comp LSR cam from the former NA heads/cam/intake setup. That boost was made with a stock GTO/Fbody lower damper and a 3.22” custom ZPE Griptec upper pulley. It’s on a 6 rib setup. Shows the potential of the 2650 units as that one is spinning less than a factory LSA setup.
The Garage Guy Nice power, I just purchased a 2004 GTO with the LQ4 motor that’s built up a little bit puts down 430 to the wheels, been thinking about a turbo or supercharger set up down the road the one you have might be an option for me eventually
Gus V right on. I use these badass Deatschwerks surge tanks now for the GTO cars. The one you seen here on this video but also the triple dw400 setup for the BIG power folks. When you get close, let me know. I also am almost done with the GTO twin turbo kits with the latest revision looking great. A kit with easy instal, access to plugs, and normal plug wires. Can also get it ceramic coated or with header shield setup.
I am building this setup and ran into the pulley issue so u have the specs of the pulley so I can have griptec make it for me. Mine would be a 8 rib but offset should be the same let me know thanks
Drew should have the data on it. I don’t have any information, but what can be done is get the cad of the the blower with the flange relationship to the engine so he can cut a pulley. That’s what I did when I had it made. Simply provided that information.
ZachTaylor this is a stock LS2. A lot less than 20k I would estimate, especially if you can do the work yourself. It’s a cam swap with LS3 heads, and a fuel system. This car has a twin disk McLeod clutch too. This blower will support well north of 1000rwhp too so there is room to grow.
Yep. Inline fuel pumps are inherently loud. The benefit is, they maintain flow better as fuel pressure increases. Intank pumps are much quieter but aren't always the best solution for racing applications.
Lo Casanova the numbers? Whatever you want them to look like. You can adjust the power based on the pulley configuration. This also has a small intake and throttle body.
What is the exhaust setup? Sounds better than my kooks LT's & Flowmaster 40's. Got a fairly built gto I have a clip of. If you need a project car let me know!
It’s not. That is Australian money. If you are looking to buy one, email me the application and I can provide the actual cost. It’s in the same range as say a Maggie.
That thing sounds insanely crisp.
One of the best sounding goats I have heard, well done!

Great build. I finished my forged internals LS3 GTO recently. I’d like this TVS now lol
may the money and horsepower gods bless you my son lol.
Did you order one?
I have a 2300 on mine but a 2650 would be nice lol. Good numbers for a stock block. That fuel setup is sick too 👍
From one goat owner to another, that’s a bad bitch🤓

Yes cut the plastic. On the bottom edge facing the spare tire area.
Nice job! Glad to see people still building Goats. I’m assuming e85?
Thanks man. Yes, it's flexfuel equipped. Got some more GTOs coming, so be on the lookout.

F-K YEAH!!!!
"Stock bottom LS2"
Me: Yikes.
Yeah, I'm curious if this thing ever blew up. I think I have heard it can hold up to 800HP though.
Honestly I think the bottom end would be fine for 700hp, I'd still want to at least replace the rods though.
That's nasty. Stay safe man

If someone has a stock ls2 how much would all this be? $20k

ZachTaylor If you want to try this setup, I can get the parts to recreate it for the GTO and several other applications. Shoot me an email.
👍
damn that's nice. I need that fuel setup...
Spinnin McWinnin if you are in Cali I can build it for you, or get you the parts you need. Email me if interested
I'll be sending you a message shortly. not in cali unfortunately. @@thegarageguy8712
What shop did the work? Very nice setup!!!
I did the work. Jorge made his own intake, but the rest I did here at The Garage in Riverside.

Did he really have to cut the hood up like that or did he do it for air flow/aesthetics?
He made a cowl hood for it himself and that was just the starting point and it needed more clearance than the stock hood offered

Yeah, they are Deatschwerks version of the Bosch 044 pump. Noisy pumps for sure.

It’s holding up as expected. Perfectly for over 2 years and counting.
@@thegarageguy8712 very nice, its either this or procharge. I cant decide which is more maintainable. Shooting for 750whp

What are the numbers looking like for a similar package on a (A4)?
Lo Casanova the numbers? Whatever you want them to look like. You can adjust the power based on the pulley configuration. This also has a small intake and throttle body.
Lo Casanova and you need a 4l80e to run this setup. A 4l60 wouldn’t last a day.
What’s the numbers it put down?
727rwhp on 10-11psi
The Garage Guy my LSA GTO put down 619 rwhp so that’s killer 727 rwhp on a stock bottom end! Great video man I’m a subscriber 👍🏼
Really cool! I’m getting my Gto back after I finish the stang. Twin turbos using my kit that is almost done

It's a Magnaflow setup with Kooks headers.
