Gamzee wasn't even Gamzee on the meteor, that was 100% Lil' Cal and the beginning stages of LE, and I think a lot of the fandom forgets that, sober or not, I don't think Gamzee would have ever done what he did. He's too *gentle.*

With that and his little moment where he did A LOT of damage against the Black King in mind in some kind of lapse, it feels moreso that his friendly and chill behavior was a result of his addiction to sopor slime and how it messed with his head, hiding how merciless he really was.

Gamzee gives me similar vibes to Tuco from Breaking Bad in that his presence constantly puts me on edge because he is fully capable, physically and mentally, of literally ripping my arms off and then bludgeoning me to death with them.
