How were they supposed to know someone was capable of this?? Why didn't TSA implement the current security measures before 9/11? Why didn't the federal government and Capitol police have more extensive security measures before the insurrection? You can only react, adapt, and make changes to ensure it can't happen again.

There is no way they can do ANYTHING to make New Orleans and Bourbon street 100% safe. They can definitely make improvements but the sad reality is there isn’t anything except completely shutting the city down that would make it completely safe. In saying all this, I think ALOT of higher ups in New Orleans are now on blast for being too complacent.
I would like to see the City get all the videos of the night of every corner to see how Secure Bourbon St was. This will be PROOF if any SECURITY was in PLACE.
