This is a fantastic video filled with excellent info! The images showcase Jennifer's and Joe's phenomenal abilities to create beautiful images - some that only use a MagSphere and a MagGrid. The simplicity of carrying and using lightweight modifiers out on the terrain doesn't adversely affect the results they produce. Simply stunning! Heading to IG to follow them! Thanks MagMod - love this episode!

Love these photos! Thank you for posting this session with Jennifer and Joe. It seems that almost all Magmod shots are with couples-- and that works great. I'm wondering if you have any Magmod sessions where the photographer is just shooting an individual- such as senior pictures, quinceaneras, or Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Thanks again!!!

Absolutely! For numerous portraits, join our MagMod Community on Facebook-it's free! We also post regularly on Instagram. Many photographers find the wedding industry to be a reliable source of income, which is why you'll often see many photos from this genre shared by professionals. But yeah lots of photographers use MagMod for individuals as well.

First off I would like to say thank you for doing these episodes they are extremely helpful in educational. That being said this is the perfect video to Xpress my views that I have. First when you have these individuals on your episodes they should take pictures of how they have the light set up in every aspect educating us on how the lights or positioned. Then they can show us the pictures afterwards what they actually look like. In this situation the individuals are talking about the gray card that they used now I understand the gray card and how it works normally but I am confused and I'm sure other people were confused on how they had it set up changing their camera settings afterwards so that they were using more blue or more orange. It would be extremely helpful if they would pull out their camera and just show us exactly how they do their settings. It even seems like you're struggling trying to understand what they're doing as well and it should not be that difficult or confusing. Once again I love what you do and I appreciate it but I'm a little bit more clarity would be super helpful. When I am educating individuals in any aspect I always remember one thing I understand what I'm saying but they don't so I have to make it extremely clear and easy for them to understand or I lose them. Once again thank you

Firstly, I want to express my genuine appreciation for your feedback and for taking the time to articulate your thoughts so thoroughly. I'm glad to hear that you find the episodes educational and beneficial - that's always our goal.
I completely understand where you're coming from regarding the visual representation of the setups. Demonstrating through pictures or even video snippets of the light setups and the subsequent results can undoubtedly provide a clearer perspective for viewers like you. Your suggestion about documenting the light positioning and sharing the resultant images is something I'll seriously consider for future episodes.
Regarding the gray card topic and the camera settings, I acknowledge the confusion. We aim to make our content as clear and as educational as possible, and if there were moments where it felt confusing, that’s something we need to address. Your feedback is invaluable in this regard.
Your principle about clarity in teaching resonates with me. We always strive to make our content both comprehensive and accessible. Know that we'll be working to implement some of the changes you've suggested to ensure clarity and better learning experiences for our audience.
Once again, thank you for your insightful feedback. We’re always learning and evolving, and comments like yours help us to improve.
      Thank you again,
      Trevor Dayley

I am confused on this one? How did you use a gray card and come up with 10k on white balance?
