- Iran’s seawater transfer project is an ambitious solution to the country’s water crisis. The project involves a 3,700 km pipeline that carries water from the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman to the arid provinces. Started in 2014, the project costs more than $23 billion and uses modern desalination technology. Major challenges such as geographical conditions and environmental impacts have been overcome with innovation and sustainable solutions. The project is designed to support the water needs of the population, industry and agriculture, while also becoming a model of sustainable infrastructure for the Middle East region.

Good to see that Iran learned something from Israeli technology. Alas, they spend much more money on warfare and terrorist actions.
This is why Iran needs to be stopped. Like the Chinese, these non-Western nations are always looking to improve things for themselves and the global south. If they keep doing this, how will the West enjoy superior living standards on planet Earth. How will Westerner's get their billionaires & millionaires to enjoy a great life subjugating the masses with these non-Western nations trying to promote socialism. Don't they know that westerners love feudal societies. Westerners believe in superiority. They believe that 1% of their population is infinitely more superior. Crazy superstitious Westerners.

Extraordinaire projet tellement un meilleur investissement que les armes de guerre ,
dans un monde parfait oui, mais les armes de guerres sont aussi nécessaires lorsque votre pays est encerclé de bases militaires américaines et que beaucoup de pays convoitisent votre pétrole et gaz.
On l'a vu lorsque Saddam Hussein soutenu financièrement/militairement par les USA, l'URSS et les monarchies arabes ont attaqué l'Iran en 1980.
C'est encore plus nécessaire lorsque vous êtes non loin d'un pays qui ne cesse d'agrandir ses frontières et qui encourage la colonisation (cad israel).

Очень интересный проект. В СССР были разработаны отдельные методики по наполнению водой пустынь через создание дождевых облаков и озеленение пустнь за не очень большие затраты. Может быть Ирану стоило бы обратиться к России ради подобного проекта и технологии. Её можно было бы применить как вспомогательную к этой трубе

Хорошая задумка, соленость Каспийского моря почти в 3 раза меньше, чем Индийского океана или Средиземного моря, из которого берет воду для опреснения Израиль. Т.е. это будет дешевле и проще
